You have to look at their differences...A W/Mo has a base (Base as in, before glad armor, or anything) of 20, with 2 pips of energy regen, not very energy skill spam effective...A Mo/W has a base of 30 energy with 4 pips of energy regen.

Heres the steriotype (cant spell it >_>) W/Mo and Mo/W

W/Mo: Warrior that hits things with sword/axe/hammer with some monk spells to back him/her up, with 200% damage against undead with smiting, if he/she decides to use smite
Mo/W: Healer that has warrior skills (I think just bonneties *again with the lame spelling* Defense for +energy when being wacked on) But also has 200% damage against undead with smiting skills.

Well, if you're planning on tanking, W/Mo can be good... then again, a Mo/W is invincible in any place where there is no enchantment removal.

Personally, I like Mo/W a lot more. More fun, for one. And a hell of a lot more versatile.

monk runes are getting rather expensive, but so is superior absorption. If you had another warrior and you really wanted to smite things, I'd actually recommend ele/monk with smiting/energy storage/ maybe earth magic or protection. Ether renewal, draw conditions, balthazar's aura, random self enchants for ether renewal, the usual. If you stay outside the war's aggro bubble until 10 seconds or so into fighting you can kill mobs of pretty difficult meeleers in very short time. Once I can get back to playing GW in a couple weeks I hope one of my guildies has a war at ember light camp I can abuse some un-nerfed flesh golems with....

I too suggest Mo/W. Rangers have pretty good armors and decent tanks themselves. As a Mo/W, you can either smite with lots of enchantment, or just play as a healer/protector to assist your ranger friends. It has more versatility than a W/Mo.
