I just wonder about the armor in ascalon compared to Lions arch. Right now i play with a warriror and before my warrior i had a ranger, and before that and so on.
When going to Lions arch to buy new armor there, i kind of early realised that the armor isnt really better. It has the same stats as the ascalon armor, atleast this is the case for warriors and rangers, only differens if you wanna buy Wyvern for warriors and druids (i think you can get that in lions) for rangers.
So my strait forward question is why do almost everyone change armor in Lions Arch? Is there something i missed so tell me please, it doesnt matter how much i compare the armors i cant still see the difference. Yes as i said if i missed something or i have a bug in my comp please yell at me
If you aren't going the DR route of Ascalon Armor and can't stand the looks of Gladiator's, then LA is your warrior's first chance at Wyvern Armor, which looks decent and works pretty well as plain-jane tank armor. As I recall, the set of ascalon armor you can get in LA is the same stats as the high-end one you get in ascalon city. Of course, head out a little further to Bergen Hot Springs and there's an improved ascalon armor set, which should be good enough to get you through to Ventari's Refuge or until you start getting armor from the Maguuma Jungle collectors. But that's a whole 'nother thing from what you're asking about.
