Lightning Surge vs Boss problem
Is it just me or does Lightning Surge not work on PvE bosses? I tried it out around 5-6 times on different profession bosses ranging from Avicara, troll, and Grawl. Lightning Surge doesn't seem to work. I know I casted it because I got the exhaustion and -10 energy for its use.

I believe hexes and conditions have half duration verses bosses, so it's possible that Lightning Surge simply expires before the 3 seconds are up, as if it had been removed.

Yes, all hexes last half duration on bosses, so Wastrel's Worry, Incendiary Bonds, and Lightning Surge have no effect at all.

Does this also apply to a Guild Lord?

I could have sworn that I've had lightning surge work against an enemy boss.
