E/? Solo Farming Builds and Locations
Can someone tell me some good places to farm and a good build for farming with an Elementalist. I can easily change my second class. I was thinking of a Smiting Build but i wasnt sure how they were built with a E Primary.

If you want a smiting build I suggest going Enchantment heavy, Using Ether Renewal, then your typical smite-them-good skills.
That should get you started...and use the search button, it's your friend.

Elementalist/Anythings can pretty much solo anywhere. Even the places where there are tons of enchantment removers. Just throw in Obsidian Flesh to your build, put up a few wards, and unload a bunch of AOE spells and there you have it.
Here's my build for farming Flesh Golems (I do it for the XP, not the drops):
1. Aura of Restoration
2. Fire Attunement
3. Obsidian Flesh
4. Ward Against Melee
5. Firestorm
6. Incendiary Bonds
7. Phoenix
8. Flame Burst
I guess it's pretty self explanatory. No subjobs needed.

my build for ele/monk smiting:
12 smiting
10 + 4 energy storage
8 + 1 earth magic
Divine Boon
Balthazar's Aura
Symbol Of Wrath
Ward Against Meelee
Armor of Earth
Ether Renewal
Aura of Restoration
Zealot's Fire
Locations & Strategy
The trick is to find hoards of enemies that basically just meelee you. I find the best are the griffons north of camp rankor, although the trolls northwest of Droknar's is probably better for exp. What you do is cast zealot's fire and aura of restoration before combat, then run to aggro a lot of enemies. Then you cast armor of earth and ward vs meelee as they come into damage range, then cast ether renewal, balthazar's aura, symbol of wrath, then spam divine boon. Wait for ether renewal to recharge, then hit next group. This build is particularly good for getting materials and exp, but the traders have large issues at the moment.

InvaderGIR: I just tried your build i can't see how you're able to farm em successfully. Obsidian flesh doesn't stay up very long, ~15sec depending on how many points you've got in earth and the recharge is 30sec and the second it drops the golems will remove all your buffs and you're as good as dead.
Edit:
Was going with my own PBAOE spells and not with yours, trying yours in a last atempt actually made the build work but barely. Btw, what attributes are you going with?

I love to solo, I dunno its fun taking on large numbers with just you. I too solo the Flesh Golems on occation, though I use a Geo heavy build.
Earth Magic 15 (11+4)
Engery Storage 11 (10+1)
Healing Magic 10
1. Crystal Wave
2. Aftershock
3. Earthquake
4. Eruption
5. Armor of Earth
6. Obsidian Flesh
7. Earth Attunment
8. Healing Breeze
Another big help is to have the collect 20% wand and 20/20% scroll. Not needed but hugely helpful.
With Earth at 15 your Obsidian Flesh will last 20 sec, not long enough to keep it up forever. So prep for battle by hitting 7, then 5, just as you aggro hit 6 (timing takes a bit of preactice). Then as the Golems approach, hit 4, 3, 2, 1. At the end of the Crystal Wave, your flest will go out. Hit 8. If your 2 or 1 are ready hit it, if not wait till Lingering Curse is cast on you removing all enchantments. As soon as this happens hit 5 then 8 again. Then keep hitting 2 and 1 till they all die. Simple.
It gets a lot simpler if you have the two collector weapons. 2 out of 5 times, Obsidian Flesh will recharge before it goes out. Cast it again. Smooth sailing everytime if that happens.
This works, not everytime, but most of the time for me. This and slight variations work great for me with sand drakes, grawl, trolls, and ettins.
What I would like to know is what builds people use for soloing the tengu in Twin Serpents Lake. Please Help me on this.

I'm trying out different farming builds and they work great but for one problem. For each and every "known" farming spot arena.net has added spellcasters to screw you over. For example remove all enchantments is always great to get cast on you when the only reason you're still alive is because of your buffs. Oh my, they're gone.. and in less than a second you're dead.
A lot of people have gotten tons of money and items already by farming, nerfing the spots now for coming generations isn't fair in my opinion.
I tried going after some white mantle in a mission, they've gotten spellcasters, boom screwed. Flesh golems has gotten a nice necro spell that removes all your enchantments. Enchanted Griffons are now joined with arcane mobs and shadow mobs that'll debuff you and remove enchantsments.
So, has anyone got any farming spots that actually work or is everyone just clinging on by their Obsidian Flesh? :S

those tengus are hard to farm with E/Mo build. a good water build might do it. you could use blurred vision, armor of frost, mist form and use other ele spells to take them out.

Alrighty, I saw someone looking for a Ele/Monk Solo Build for Twin Lakes/Riverside Provence, but I can't find the post again so ill post my build here. It is VERY similar to a build posted before me but I don't rember the name of the person. I'm an elephant with a great memory . Ok.. Here Goes...
Level 20 Twin Serpent Lakes Ele/Mo Solo:
Attributes:
Earth Magic- 8
Energy Storage- 10.. +3 (Sup. Energy Storage Rune)
Smiting- 12
405 Health Points.. +30 (Minor Vigor Rune) and 69 Energy
Skills: (This Order Helps With Casting Order)
1.Ether Renewal
2.Zealot's Fire
3.Aura Of Restoration
4.Ward Against Melee
5.Armor of Earth
6.Balathazar's Aura
7.Symbol of Wrath
8.Divine Boon
Steps:
1.Start out by running past the Mergoyle {L.14} and Bog Skale Icetooth {L.18}. Most people just die here and let themselve's res right next to the tengu, but I figure why not just spare your self from the Death Penatly and run by. Get real close and wait untill it looks like the group is going to bunch together then stay near the West wall and run by.
2.Before you get a group of Caromi Tengu Elite {L.18} together, cast Ether Renewal (As Soon as this Recharges Cast it Again), Zealot's Fire, and Aura of Restoration. Then aggro the group and cast Ward Against Melee and Armor of Earth. Once they get into spell range, cast Balathazar's Aura and Symbol of Wrath. Then Start spamming Divine Boon.
This Might take a little pratice but once you master it, It's a really good place and build to solo as an Ele/Mo.
This is where I got my two superior runes which are now for sale.. Ahem. . See Selling Sup. Monk Rune of Prot. Prayers and Sup. Necro Sould Reaping For Details.

I usually farm the griffons noth of camp rankor in sake dance which geives you pretty decent drops...got a purple max dmg fellblade before.
12 energy storage+ 1hat +3sup= 16
12 smiting
3protection
Symbol of Wrath
Balthazurs aura
ether renewal
divine boon
zealots fire
essence bond
protective spirit(or bond forgot which 1 but its the 5%one where you lose energy)
Balthazurs spirit
Bascically u cast the last 3skills when you enter the area in this order: balthazur, protective spirit, essense bond. Then regenerate energy by using ether renewal then spam divine boond. Dont actuallly wait for it since regaining 30energy with only 1pip regen take forever.... When you see a mob of griffons, cast zealots fire before you aggro. Once you get aggro position yourself in between them so they surround you. It doesnt matter if you get hit since you would only be taking like 21damage each. Cast symbol of wrath then aura which would drop you down to 50energy plus i would say another 20or so energy to give you about 30ish energy left. After that, cast ether renewal followed by spamming divine boond. With ether renewal, you would have seven enchants on so with 16energy storage, you gain 35energy and i think something like 200heal with every cast of divine boond. You can get off about 10casts of divine boon from ether which would put you back at full energy. By then, if the monsters still arent dead which they wont if you do this correctly, cast some more boon and then aura which should have recharged. In this build, i can easily do around 550damage in 20-25second ish if you stop spamming divine boons when ether is up.

When will people learn not to post farming locations. All it does is insure the it will be overfarmed and eventually nerfed it it already hasn't been.

Pming them still insures that they will be overfarmed haha. 1 person tells another and down the line it goes. Preserve where you farm. Keep it to yourself.

Yep. Farming locations should remain with the person who knows about them. Sure, many others may as well, but at least it keeps the items in without being nerfed.
And Warrior/Monks drive me absolutely insane. I don't think I've ever seen so many in my friggin' lifetime (granted...there are no...REAL Warrior/Monks...)! Not to mention how stinkin' greedy they are.
"Oh, my allies are dead -- I think I'll just go solo from here..." and DIE!
*Ahem.* ...Keep farming locations to yourself. Thank you.
