Second Monk
This is something I threw together, don't know how many people use builds like this, but it worked great for me.
Points in protection, inspiration, and divine favor.
Life Bond
Balthazar's Spirit
Blessed Signet
Mantra of Inscription
Signet of Devotion
Echo {e}
Archane Echo
Rebirth
Idea is very very simple. Life Bond everyone. Spirit goes on you, you gain massive energy. =D
To be more specific, in battle, you want echo to be charged up. Use it on Signet of Devotion to bust that free healing. Your energy will never die. Outside of battle, those 8 maintained enchants will hurt, so you want to archane echo your blessed signet to keep your energy up. With this build, the only thing you really need energy for is rebirth. XD
Well that, and recasting broken bonds. Tell me what you all think. The reason this is so great as a second monk is that:
A. Everyone takes 50% dmg
B. You can keep it up indefinetely
C. Healing seed on you fcking rocks
D. The other monk can life bond you, and stick on their own balthazar's for infinite energy
I guess there's something in there that you could switch out for .. anything that takes energy. Maybe Aegis or using Divine Intervention on everyone.

I think the Life Bond/Balth Spirit/Blessed Sig part is fairly well known, but I think your use of Echo, Devo Sig, and Mantra of Inscription is clever. The downside is that Devo Sig has a 2 sec cast time, so you can't always rely on it getting there in time.
Just a thought: Since you already have high PP, why not swap out Devo Sig, use Echo on Blessed Sig full-time for better energy management, and use a prot skill like Reversal or Prot Spirit to help your team.
Using Mantra Inscription, Echo, and Arcane Echo might be overkill. I'd say drop one (probably Arcane Echo) and pick up another prot skill like Aegis or Shielding Hands. With Blessed Sig x2 plus energy coming from Balth Spirit, you should be able to afford to use these skills.
I'd recommend dropping Rebirth (reasons here). You could replace it with Res Sig, or just leave the job of ressing to your non-monk teammates and take another skill.

Well I forgot to say I've only done this in PvE. I wouldn't know about pvp. ^^;
I use the echo for in battle, (on signet of devotion), because the cast time on Echo is less likely to get interrupted. You're right about blessed signet being a long cast, but in battle, I never need to use it. Balthazar's Spirit takes care of the energy...
Archane echo is for outside battle, to do the blessed signet so you don't start dropping enchantments. It matters a lot less that it has a 2s cast there.
You're right about the two echos probably being over kill though.. aegis spam would be nice. Only thing is with 3 attributes it will only last 12 seconds.
Dunno, thanks for the input.

This seems like a nice build but what are you doing in areas like perdition rock where there is massive enchant removal?

I have yet to figure out any other viable strategy other than .. not using enchants. Hello heal party! Any other monks tried this area with enchants?
