Default Phoenix

When Phoenix explodes on the target, is the extra damage AoE or that target only?

The extra damage only impacts on enemies that are close to you.

I'm pretty sure both hits are AOE, but I haven't used the spell in a while, so don't quote me.

The intial damage is for those who are close to you, but the secondary hits your target and adjacent ones. The concept of this spell is cool, it just takes way too much energy and has far to long of a recharge time to be useful.
