The adrenaline gain is instant, and you gain the adrenaline every time you use the skill. It is also a shout, so you can use it while attacking, using a skill, or casting.

Make note that "For Great Justice!" gives you 50% more, not double, adrenaline gain.

so with lets say tigers fury and to the limit is a better combo than tigers fury and for great justice

also if u have max of 4 on to the limit is that 4 strikes of adrenaline

Hi there,

I dont thinks its a noob question, and the comparison skill you highlight certainly brings it into question.

Your right, TtL gives you instant adrenaline!.. so will give you x strike of adrenaline for each opponent around you.

In Team arena you can only gain upto 4 strikes of adrenaline (usually 2/3), so its not going to instantly activate most adrenal skills. in 8man team maybe its more usefull.

It really depends on how much you NEED adrenaline, if your using this skill then you would HAVE to make sure you have it for a very specific reason, as in.. your entire build DEPENDS on having adrenaline.

I have been playing with a devastating hammer build (Mad King Snowman) which really does depend on gaining adrenaline.. as quick as possible, and yet I still cant seem to justify having TtL, I MUCH prefer beserker stance!

I also take a furious hammer usually (double adrenal on hit 10% chance)

the reason why I need so much adrenaline is because my aim with the knockdown warrior is to knock down the monk to stop him healing, at the same time deal huge damage to kill him, devastating hammer needs 10 strikes of adrenal, so can take along time to build up.

the biggest problem I have found with this strategy is that if I dont hit.. or i miss, then I dont gain ANY adrenal.. so taking warriors cunning really helps!.. not because I want to be sure that my attacks deal the damage.. but because I REALLY need that adrenal.

You could argue that you dont need to hit at all with TtL, but if you think about it, it you cant hit for some reason, then it doesnt matter if your adrenal skills are recharged or not.. because your adrenal based attack is most lightly going to fail also.

You actually raise an interesting point about For Great Justice, because it doesnt require an attribute.. and I dis-like taking tactics, however it does require 10 energy!.. and again, you still need to actually HIT your opponent to gain the adrenal from it.

so in short.. I would say that even in an adrenal intensice build I cant see me ever taking either of these skills...

If you want adrenaline.. use skills which provide it as a side benefit...

Beserker Stances gives you faster attack rate... more hits more adrenal... AND it gives you doulbe adrenal on hit..... if you cant hit, Warriors cunning helps you out. a MUCH better strategy... sometimes I have Devastating hammer recharged after just a few hits.

hope this helps

When it comes to Adrenaline building, I'd say try battle fury. It's really good, and if you time it right, you can keep it up non-stop.

As for your question, I'd say use em both. To the Limit will give you a block of adrenaline, but for great justice will let you build it even faster.

Both are useful skills, and I'd say if you are tight on your skill bar, chose the skills according to where you are.

hmm, taking one of these two skills is dubious.. let alone taking them both.

as I said, my build works soley on the principle of gaining adrenal, and I cant justify using any of them, so taking both is insane.. you could never need that much adrenaline.. you would have so much adrenal overspill that you would waste most of it...

if your opponent is evading or blocking not only are you NOT gaining adrenal your Adrenal based attacks wont even hit.

Im am however assuming your question is in regard to PvP Play... if your farming or PvE'ing my opinion might not be so valid

As an extra tidbit of information, using To The Limit! prevents adrenaline loss that you would experience after waiting for a while.

hmm I like that,

ok so I didnt make my self too clear at the start so this is my build:
warrior/ranger
16 axe
9 beast mastery
7 strength
8 tactics

zealous axe of +5 defence + max shield with +22 hp always

sprint, tigers fury, to the limit, disrrupting chop, evicerate, executioners strike, axe rake, rez

so Im pretty adrenaline skill base heavy I think and I wanan get them up asap and as often as possible so:

to the limit at 8 tactics cost 5 nrg rechareges at 20s and fives me 4 strikes of adrenaline per foe in the area

for great justice no attrib costs 10 nrg and lasts for 10s and recharges at 45s gives 50% extra adrenaline per hit

and berserker stance was mentioned even at 12 strength only lasts for 10s recharges at 30s ad gives +33% faster attack and 20% more adrenaline but u cant use skill with it or it ends and I already have tigers fury

sooo which would help me out more here for great justice or to the limit or none also should if i were to use to the limit should I ditch strength and pump up tactics more or as I have it now is ok

any help would be great

To the limit is tactic skill, while other boosters are strenght based - this can be a factor.

I remember this skill was bugged (althought I don't know if it's fixed now or not).

This was very nice thing in PvE, cause the recharge of the skill is not that high - you could use it from stopping your already builded adrenaline from going away while your team is resting.

EDIT:
Dam, I missed that.
