Default Air Spiker PvP/Tombs Build

I run this -

Mindshock
Lightning Orb
Lightning Strike
Gale
Enervating Charge
Air Attunement
Ele Attunement
Rez Sig

I have maxed out Air and the rest in energy storage.

I'd like to have some comments on this build to improve it.

Well Mindshock and Ele attunement are both elites. I would suggest that you use mindshock and put in maybe a windborne speed to provide some support to your team or if your subclass is gonna be mesmer than you can probably take drain enchantment to remove prot spirit.

I would take out ele attunement and put in mantra of resolve, I would probably also drop gale in favour of something like wiondbourne speed (depends on what skills your teammates are bringing)

Thing about a spike build is that it is usually based around one main spike (in this case orb) and then one 'finishing' spell for the times the enemy doesnt quite go down (mind shock in this case although to be honest lightning strike does as well in this role - maybe freeing up an elite spot for something more useful - maybe you can put that ele attunement back in? :-)).So if I was doing an air spike build I would look at:

Ele Attunement
Air attunement
mantra Resolve
Orb
Strike
[utility support skill - eg windbourne speed, gale etc - liaise with team to find what they want]
Drain enchantment or inspired enchantment
rez sig

Then you hit the enemy with 4 or 5 x orb (depending on the build) all at the same time, and follow immediately with strike from the same players. if it is timed right the enemy goes down (assuming the enchants, esp prot spirit are being removed just before the spike). If it is timed wrong the enemy survives.

So i would go 16 air, no more than 10 in energy if I'm using both attunements, and the rest into inspiration for my mantra.

i know this has worked well for me in the past, so i thought you might try it assuming you want to go completely with ele skills and not use secondary classes.

strike
enervating charge
orb
chain
glyph of ele energy
ele attunement
air attunement
rez

go with 16 air and the rest in energy storage. start by attuning (of course) and the glyph, then use either chain or orb on the target, depending on what the build group your running in is. enervating charge is good for when you run into a group of warriors for the weakness it inflicts. you can also mod this using glimmering mark instead of ele attunement for an anti-iway build. it's such great fun to watch blinded iway warriors try in vain to dispell the blindness that glimmering mark causes ^_^. hope this works for you.

Unless your talking about glyph of lesser energy, you have 2 elites in that list.

Does Ele Attunement stack with a specific attunement, say Air Attunement?

I've been running this build in the arenas:

Lightning Orb
Lightning Strike
Lightning Javelin
Air Attunement
Aura of Restoration
Mantra of Resolve
Mantra of Recall {e}
Rez Sig

If they stack, I guess I'd want to run Ele Attunement in place of Mantra of Recall. If they do stack, how do they stack? Would they both refund energy from the intial cost, or would one be applied first while the other refunds energy based on the reduced amount due to the first attune spell?

Finally, what are people's thoughts on Ether Prodigy? Too damaging?

if you plan on being a single spiker, not in an air spike team, you should use lightning surge, followed by orb and finishing the squishy off with lightning strike.
the combo takes aprox 1.5 seconds, and should kill the target.

lightning surge
lightning orb
lightning strike
air attunment
blinding flash
mantra of resolve
drain enchantment
rez sig

it works pretty good for me
