ive heard this is effective but i have to problams 1: where are the ettins 2:wot skills should i take and i use axe and refuse to change it so no sowrd builds plz

Well, the ettins are hiding outside of Beetletun. Don't worry, you'll find them.

I suggest you bring Flurry, Executioner's Strike, Eviscerate, Axe Twist/Penetrating Blow/Distracting Blow, Healing Breeze, Mending and another skill of your choise, preferably healing or protection.

Also, why not just change to swords when Ettin farming and change back when you fight in missions and quest? I found swords work better than axes when ettin farming. But both work.

I hate being a warrior/monk but I like it for farming. I just change to my "real" combo when doing important stuff with other people.

W/R sword farming ettins = ownage. Hundred Blades Elite + Apply poison + Ettins = ownage. Need I say more on that? Nope!

As for W/Mo ettin, I tend to stay axe, cyclone, vig spirit, flurry <this is all using a vamp weapon> ontop of healing hands elite. You can't die! =)

ok thanks the main reson for me is im trying to make money and buyin a sowrd for wot ever price defeats the point instead of distracting blow would it be wise to take the unlinked distracting something or not

Edit: i dont want to buy the sigs and stuff to get healing hands cuas it costs nearly 1k a skill now again im gonna stick with axe and i dont like vamp upgrades

Im with everyone else on this one, Swords are the way to go when farmng Ettins.
First off, you need a fiery hilt or a sword that does fire damage. I have tried many different combinations and fire does the most damage to them.
I also bring a sword because there are 2 skills that are used to interrupt their healing sigs, they heal when their health drops to 80% and then again once it reaches 20-30%, below 20% they will not heal again. Distracting blow is great and Savage Slash works as long as you use it right after they activate thier sigs. There are other skills that you must have in order for this build to work, but you can get through a group of 3 in about 15 seconds.

I always farmed ettins outside of asclon settlement by lions arch. the only thinkg is u have to go through a bunch of fire imps and bog scales to get to em. maybe ill try outside bettleton

from wot ive seen sowrds look good but im tyring to make money not splash out on a sword + skills costing nearly a platinaum a piece so ill try my own versoin with an axe thanks for your help ill post my build if it works
