This description is a little vague and has been updated in-game. Practiced Stance makes your Preparations recharge 50% faster, not cast 50% faster.

That...sucks. Recharge 50% Faster? The casting 50% made sense, but i don't need to increase the recharge rate, as all my preps are recharged before their duration expires...

One preparation, choking gas, is much more usefull when you can keep it up all the time rather than only about half the time. Not only does it help you to recast choking gas, but it makes it last longer, so a longer duration for interrupt arrows.
Other than this one instance, I agree with you that 50% faster casting time is better, as every other preparation (excluding elites) lasts longer than it's recharge time.

eh? it's not talking about recharge time. the two things this skill does is:
1. Prepare your arrows faster (or make the 2 seconds to cast preparations only 1)
2. Makes them last longer
it doesn't change the recharge timer.

Did you at least read the comment of Mind Wallaby? recharge time is affected, not casting time.
I agree with Banebow, very usefull if you play choking gaz; but still it's really too bad this stance is elite ... I would love to have it non-elite, even if it has to be weaker...

This is prolly the single best elite for an interupt ranger to take. You only need to have it up when using choking gas to get the full effects of it, and then you can switch to tigers fury for 15+ secs of aoe interuption b4 starting the chain over again. Gotta love an interupt pretty much every second that hits even if blind or aegis is up.

Its a harder Ranger Elite to get too - I'm still trying.
Arrowing is like the LEAST likely of the Avicari bosses to spawn in the two boss areas that are easier to get too. Springclaw and Darkclaw spawn almost everytime.
Outta 10 trys trying to get it - 4 I got horrible spawns and was swamped with enemies are major chockpoints and just started over because most of my team was working on 60% DP and those Avicari Tengu aren't anything to laugh at (the normal group is 5-6 Fierces and 3-4 Braves). The other 6 he didn't spawn in the two boss spots are are decent to get too (theres a third but its after a long path of 15+ enemy avicari groups).

Well I just got this one, and doesn't it figure, it's at the 2nd closest spawn point but was the last one I went to.
Anyways, just wanted to respone to person before me. If you are having problems in mineral springs, use henchs. They work a lot better then players, and even better is they don't leave in the middle of doing it of if group spanks. Tried 2 times just now with players, that didn't go so well. Grabbed henchs and it was a breeze.
My suggestion, bring some traps and pull aggros onto them, and THEN attack them. Burning/Bleeding/Crippled Avicara Braves go down fast with a little extra poison. Heh Heh heh.
PS> Make sure you don't have Defend Droknar's Forge quest active, or it kinda fubars the pop.

This skill seems to only have a advantageous effect on the skill Choking Gas, as most other preps recharge faster than their duration (except inc.). Unless you want to make your preps last longer, which I would see no point when you could just recast it...

To the guy before the last guy - I NEVER explored with real players...have never...will never... Atleast not in non-mission enviroments, and the monsters aren'tall that hard.
He just tends not to spawn in the convenient places. he isn't as troublesome as that darn Maxine Coldstone that I chased forever for quickshot though.
Like 2 hours after posting that I got it though..
Like probably already said - its for the practiced/choking build only basically. They made it elite only because of incen. arrows, and the fact that combo would be too ownage :\
