This is my prot monk that's managed to keep a whole team running in the underworld until someone does something stupid like run from aatxes after I've given them a prot spirit. I swear, the number of times that's happened and we've lost people just because I can't throw prot spirit on the whole party (if only arcane echo wasn't so EXPENSIVE)... rrgh. But I digress. Note that it's limited due to my lack of monetary funds.

I know, I know, you're all screaming "ENERGY MANAGEMENT"-- but honestly, with a good tank, I really don't have a problem. I just drop an aegis, a guardian, a prot spirit, and a shielding hands-- I don't need to heal him for a while, and when I do, Dwayna's brings him back up to full health. The one problem with Dwayna's is that the recharge makes it a bit less than spammable, but it's a great heal for a prot monk. Yes, I know, there's no hex removal, but I make it clear to the other monk that I'll handle conditions if he or she removes hexes.
