does anyone have any really good necro builds for PvE? all i see is PvP builds and i dont PvP yet so..... im thinking a build with lots of health and damage of course. i want to dominate teh enemy and not have the enemy dominate me. can anyone help me?

Well I usually use the following skillset-

Skills
Feast of Corruption
Parasitic Bond/Suffering
Desecrate Enchantments
Insidious Parasite (Thanks Grim lol.)
Vampiric Touch
Shadow Strike/Vampiric Gaze/Awaken the Blood
Healing Breeze
Rebirth

Attrib
Curses - 16 (12 + 3 + 1)
Blood - 13 (12 + 1)
Soul Reaping - 5 (4 + 1)
Healing - 4

I have Hale Wicked Staff of Fortitude (+29 and +25 [debating on adding the +30 I got], Collectors 20/20 Curses) and a Major Vigor rune. So my health is at 500 exactly which works fine with me. I also have a scar pattern with every Superior necro rune on it to easily switch builds. Good thing to have.

Depending on where in the game you are i can recommend spiteful spirit for the later parts, not that you have a chance to get it before late in the game anyway

N/GOD - the best possible combination

Well go n/me because alot of ur curses can be arcane echoed - and u'd be dealing alot of dmg at a go. Eg. 2 spitefuls, 2 FoCs.

Minion masters = n/me or n/mo.

Yeah W/N's should be good, if you search I'm sure you can find some nice builds. Since you're a W, you can utilize the "touch target" spells even better than a Necro primary could.

Here's what I use on a necro/mesmer for UW:

1 - Vampiric Gaze (spike damage)
2 - Dark Pact (more spike damage)
3 - Insidious Parasite (health regenerator + damage dealer)
4 - Spiteful Spirit (main offense spell)
5 - Arcane Echo (to clone spiteful)
6 - Res Sig (for those 55-monkeys)
7 - Illusion of Haste (quick get-away speed!)
8 - Blood Ritual (battery utility)

This set-up covers some of UW-essentials, including spike-damage output, mass-AE-cursing, energy battery, and party wipe-out escape + recovery.

The best way to dominate your enemies would to go all out in Blood magic. Go heavy on the life steal skills and such, so you can keep yourself healed, a bit. Heres a general build.

Vampiric Gaze
Dark Aura
Dark Pact
Touch of Agony
Vampiric Touch
Unholy Feast
Life Siphon
Res of some sort.

The beauty is in Dark Aura. It deals extra damage when you sacrifice, so whenever you use the skills like Dark Pact and Touch of Agony, it deals a heap more damage than it would normally. Touch of Agony and Dark Pact are really handy, because they both cost 5 Energy each, and they recharge really quickly. Chuck Siphon around on different targets to get a good HP regen.
