The problem with this build effectiveness is that nobody here, who are the majority of the elite, will care what you're doing unless you bring these skills above all else...
Frenzy
Sprint
Exe Strike
Eviscerate {E}
Res Sig
Yes, unless you bring these 5 'staple cookie cutter' skills to the table, 9/10 overzealous pvp self-proclaimed pros will just scoff at you... [believe me, I know...]
The meta-game doesn't favor innovation much either. Everyone expects you to do nothing but damage as a warrior and sad to say, at his most efficient, and thereby best build, the 5 I just mentioned up top are you be all and end all warrior axe build 'defaults'.
The skills you should consider as an ice executioner are Conjure Frost, Frozen Burst, Ice Prison, or Shard Storm.
Some would even say you must bring Disrupting Chop as well. I'm a fan of either D. Chop or Fear Me!! but D. Chop is for those casual 4v4 fights. Fear Me!!, when enemies crowd about you, is Godlike for the 8v8 fights...
Wild Blow or Swift Chop are also strong for a warrior executioner to use... I prefer SC since it works in all situations, whereas wild blow only for stances. I get stuffed more by wards and enchantments then by stances... (and the only real stance users out there are rangers and warriors, 2 targets a warrior shouldn't care about anyway...)
Your build may work for you, but a better sense of energy management should help. If you're going for dps instead of spike (which is what's shown here using Battle Rage), then I'd suggest going sword. Swords don't have elite attacks so using an elite stance will synergize nicely. But if you insist on axe, here's my take on my w/e axe type, if I ever made one...
Swift Chop
Eviscerate {E}
Executioner's Strike
Fear Me!! / Disrupting Chop
Frenzy
Sprint
Conjure Frost
Frozen Burst / Res Sig
12+1+3 Axe (any less, would be uncivilized)
8+1 Strength
10 Ice Magic [or 8 ice and 7+1 tactics if I wanted to run Fear Me]
The 'sword' ice warrior mentioned elsewhere on one of the site's guides was:
12+1+3 Swordsmanship (not the original, but made for metagame)
8+1 Strength
10 Ice Magic
Sever
Gash
Galrath Slash / Res Sig
Final Thrust
Frenzy
Sprint
Water Trident {E}
Conjure Frost
As cookie cutter as it gets, I for one gamble on the fact that my monk keeps us alive so I wouldn't bring res sig, sometimes...

Frankly, the reason everyone says use them isnt because their snobs, its because thats the best. If you come up with a reason why its not (remember a lot of people use dark fury so you cant argue about spam) then its just a fact its the best set up for a warrior (axe)
Sword isnt really dps. The energy attacks work well if your using WE or something....but thats sub-par... the adrenaline skills dont really fit into anything really. galrath/final is spike.... sever/gash is crap.
If you want dps axe is fine. Penetrating, executioners, disrupting, dismember, etc are all good under battle rage if thats what turns you on.

My final build
here s how i use this build now
Axe 12 +4
strength 8 +1
water 10
Berserker stance
eviscerate
axe rake
executioner strike
disrupting blow
frozen burst
conjure frost
res
This is as energy efficient as it gets (i use gladiator chest and legging).
it would cost a max of 60 energy every 60 sec, 2 pips dont give that, but i rarely use frozen burst the second its ready, wait for a good opportunitie.
with this build i can easily trap a monk in early game, cast conjure frost a couple of second before engaging,call frozen burst, berserker stance. sometimes with good focus fire we can kill him before i use eviscerate etc..
this gives me the chance to snare right away an other target.
disrupting res is both easy and necessary.
this build isn t based on the max dmg possible, but being able to snare and do very good dmg. I rather cast frozen burst and have all my team beat the crap out a slow enemy than cast sprint. And, u cant have a build with both frozen burst and frenzy/sprint. maybe with storm shard but the slow is pretty short imo.
i often play this build with an aftershock mage, it works great because slowed foes dont get out of aftershock range after being knockdown while running.
