I have a R/Mo and I don't know what type I should be...

Should I go smite, healing, or just go all ranger skills and bring along rebirth?

I'm a ranger/monk at the moment, I only have rebirth with me. I like the ranger skills. Troll heals really good, so why healing skills?
Troll is better then healing breeze, only look at the energy cost.

Anyways. Most R/Mo I've met seem to basically be pure Rangers with a reusable resurrect. The few that aren't are Insightful Barrager types, or weird and mostly ineffective mixes of crap. If I were thee, I'd try Insightful Barrage (and don't forget yer Horn Bow and Penetrating Attack for finishing off single enemies! *Gains what is likely too much pleasure out of massive AP strikes*) if you wanted to make use of your Monk skills beyond a resurrect. Don't go with Healing, secondary Monks are notoriously inept healers. And do avoid Troll Unguent...it may be the only reliable self-heal a Ranger has, but that doesn't make it a very good skill :-P

Anyways. Just to clarify:
Insightful Barrager: Multiple-targeting Ranger/Monk class which uses the skills Barrage and Judge's Insight in combination. A rather energy intensive build, Insightful Barragers are nonetheless infamous for being unholy murder in situations involving multiple closely-spaced foes. As the primary build only uses two skills, Insightful Barragers are a very loose build which can easily be tailored to the player's specific needs.
