Where did you get that last item on the equipment list? I've been looking for one of those for a very, very long time. If you can point me to the collector or the crafter that will provide me with one of those, I'll give you money.

Also, on another note, since this is the W/N thread, which is better for the end game areas(Southern Shiverpeaks and Fire Islands) when you're trying to farm: Barbs or Weaken Armor? I've tried both, but I can't really tell which is giving me a better boost overall. I've been using Barbs more because it has a shorter casting time, but I don't know if I should switch.

first off, the equipment i posted is PvP gear

and for the other questoin, ide say use Weaken Armor, cause barbs is only for physical damage but Weaken Armor increases every damage, cause of the lowered AL

Damn, I thought someone had finally found an answer to my search. Oh well.

In response to your comment about weaken armor being better because it affects all types of damage: This fact is irrelevant because I'm only going to be dealing physical damage anyway. I'm a W/N mainly for plague touch. I don't really use skills that deal shadow damage anymore since they nerfed mark of pain.

Default W/N PVE build

I use Gladiators Armor with Ascalon Helm

Axe 11+1 (Minor Rune)
Str 5+1 (Minor Rune)
Tactics 7+2 (Minor Rune and ascalon helm)
Death or Curses 11 (changes depending on area)

I use a poisoners Chaos Axe of Shelter and a tactics shield.

Disrupting Chop
Eviscerate
Executioners Strike
Watch Yourself
Frenzy
Plague Touch

The final 2 skills change depending on where your going. For areas such as Mineral Springs (enemies that leave corpses) I go with Death and take Soul Feast and Necrotic Traversal. Necrotic Traversal is an excellent way to use a corpse so that gnashers and other such corpse consumers can't use the bodies, also it poisons all nearby foes. Use Soul Feast when you need health.

If your going to be fighting monsters that leave no corpse (Jade Armor) then go with Curses and take Parasitic Bond (for healing) and Shadow of Fear. I don't use Shadow of Fear too often unless we aggro several groups. Otherwise the monsters drop too fast for it to be worth casting.

A note on Frenzy. This is a wonderful skill. Play with it and you will learn when to use it and when not to.

I have played with this build from the desert to missions such as The Last Day Dawns, I have close to 2 million exp with this character so this isn't a build that hasn't been play tested.

Have fun.

Wtf did I just say?

Say you're fighting a HARD hitting enemy. Aataxe anyone? Insidious falls flat on its face in that regard. Insidious is ONLY is useful on melee fighters whose damage has been nullified through weakness

wtf did you just say?

and you're wrong --- it would work just the same on hard hitting aatxes as it does on everybody else.
the difference being that you don't want to get hit by hard hitting aatxes.
if you have found a way to avoid this, then you don't need healing, and both skills are irrelevant.
