Default Ranger/Monk Touch Attacker

I played around with this in PvE for something different to do, kinda like the Ra/Ne Touch Attacker. Did a search and didn't see anything like it posted before so thought I'd add it to the mix. It's not the ultimate build or anything, but I cleared Grenths with it with henchies without dying - but I suppose a wand warrior could do that. Anyway, here it is:

Ranger Monk Touch Attacker

Level: 20

Expertise: 16 (12+4)
Marksmanship: 4 (3+1)
Smiting Prayers: 12

- Signet of Judgment [Elite] (Smiting Prayers)
Target foe is knocked down. That foe and all adjacent foes take 63 holy damage.
Energy:0 Cast:2 Recharge:30

- Bane Signet (Smiting Prayers)
Target foe takes 50 holy damage. If that foe was attacking, he is knocked down.
Energy:0 Cast:2 Recharge:25

- Holy Strike (Smiting Prayers)
Touched target foe takes 46 holy damage. If knocked down, your target takes an additional 46 holy damage.
Energy:1.8 Cast:0.75 Recharge:8

- Smite (Smiting Prayers)
This attack deals 46 Holy damage. If attacking, your target takes an additional 30 damage.
Energy:3.6 Cast:1 Recharge:10

- Whirling Defense (Expertise)
For 21 seconds, you have 75% chance to "block" attacks. Whenever you block a projectile in this way, adjacent foes take 12 piercing damage.
Energy:3.6 Cast:0 Recharge:60

- Watchful Spirit (Divine Favor)
While you maintain this Enchantment, target ally gains +2 Health regeneration. That ally is healed for 30..150 Health when Watchful Spirit ends.
Energy:15 Cast:2 Recharge:10

- Retribution (Smiting Prayers)
While you maintain this Enchantment, whenever target ally takes attack damage, this Spell deals 33% of the damage back to the source (maximun 17 damage).
Energy:10 Cast:2 Recharge:0

- Resurrect (Monk other)
Resurrect target party member. Target party member is returned to life with 25% Health and zero Energy.
Energy:10 Cast:8 Recharge:0

Druids armor, melee weapon + artifact (I used collector's smiting artifact outside of Ascalon for +6 energy), smiting rod/bow in alt slot for ranged. This gave me an excuse to use my Icicle (Icy Sickle 6-12 no req)!

Notice the skill costs. Holy Strike is a skill and Smite is an attack, both reduced by Expertise.

The idea is to use Signet of Judgment and Bane Signet to knock an opponent down and then follow with Holy Strike. Rust really hurts and there were a lot of ice golems in Grenths!

I used Retribution but something else may be better - Strength of Honor for a bit of melee damage? Reduce Expertise, put points in WS and bring Serpents Quickness, since there is a lot of time waiting for a skill to come up? I also skipped resurrect and brought Lightning Reflexes so had a stance up more often.

The only time I ran into any energy issues was portalling from Grenths to Spearhead and not waiting for regen after putting up the enchantments before attacking the first group.

Anyway, it was fun but obviously not the greatest of builds and the Ra/Ne toucher is better.
