Quad Monk Team Arena Build
This build has worked out to be a very, very good build; if the members know what the hell they are doing. Here's the breakdown:
- A heal monk.
- A smite monk.
- A heal/life barrier monk.
- A smite/life bond monk.
Here's the build breakdown for each character:
Heal Monk - Word of Healing {E} - Low costing, quick recharging, high healing spell.
- Heal Other - Medium cost, quick recharge, very high healing spell
- Healing Breeze - To counter those negative conditions and hexes, medium cost and quick recharge.
- Healing Seed
- Healing Touch - Very nice high healing, low costing spell.
- Orison of Healing - Very nice high healing, low costing spell.
- Divine Spirit - Generic energy management spell, good for use when you need to spam spells.
Just a generic, common healing build. Use Healing Seed on the Life Bonder, and be a smart healer. Attributes are: 12 - Healing Prayers 12 - Divine Favor and whatever other runes, etc. you want to put on. Remember to bring Ressurection Signet for your 8th skill.
Smite Monk - Shield of Judgement - Very nice smiting skill, a must for this group.
- Bane Signet - Generic smiting skill.
- Holy Strike - Use this after using Bane Signet for maximum effect.
- Banish - Generic smiting skill.
- Symbol of Wrath - Again, another generic smiting skill.
- Smite - Generic smiting skill.
- Scourge Healing - Good for use against monks.
A totally generic smiting build essential for this group. Attributes should be: 12 - Smiting Prayers 12 - * And whatever runes you wish to use. Remember to bring Ressurection Signet and to be a smart smiter, time your spells effectively.
* - Any attribute you wish to use, the skills are always interchangeable.
Heal/Life Barrier - Life Barrier - The basis of this build.
- Life Bond - Use ONLY on the Smite/Life Bond monk.
- Mending - For whoever needs it.
- Orison of Healing - Low costing healing spell.
- Signet of Devotion - No costing, quick recharging healing spell.
- Blessed Signet - To gain energy from your maintained enchantments.
- Healing Touch - Effective self heal spell.
This build is very important for this group, coupled with the Life Bond/Smiter, the whole team only takes 1/4 of physical damage and 1/2 of spell damage. Attributes are as follows: 12 - Protection Prayers 8 - Divine Favor 10 - Healing Prayers not including runes. I'm not so sure if all that balances out, but it should be a rough outline for what you should use. I usually maintain around 5-6 spells, try to be smart here too, only use energy-spells when needed.
Smite/Life Bond - Signet of Judgement - Very nice smiting skill.
- Life Bond - The root of this build.
- Blessed Signet - For help maintaining Life Bond and having enough energy to effectively smite.
- Bane Signet - Generic smiting skill.
- Holy Strike - For use in unison with Signet of Judgement and Bane Signet.
- Symbol of Wrath - Generic smiting skill.
Another important role for this group, use Blessed Signet whenever you can and use Holy Strike in unison with Signet of Judgement and Bane Signet for some quick and high damage. Remember to also bring Ressurection Signet. Attributes are as follows: 10 - Smiting Prayers 10 - Divine Favor 10 - Protection Prayers, not including runes.
Thank you for reading through this whole guide, if you have any questions, suggestions, comments, concerns, or anything on your mind, feel free to post here. Have a nice day -
Glap.

I would seriously consider a.........
DRUM ROLL
Curse Monk
Spiteful Spirit
Parasitic Bond
Malaise
Rend Enchantments
Blessed Signet
Life Bond
Balthazar's Spirit
Res Sig
Replace the bond monk with that. Make one Smite monk a Life Barrier/Prot monk with Bane Signet and maybe Smite.

With the 4 monk build what do you do about hexes? i noticed it was only mentioned at healing breeze and to 'solve' a hex it only covers degens.
What if they cast back fire or some equally annouying hex on one of you? just sit there and wait out the 10 seconds?
i'm loving the idea of a all monk team, would love to see it in action.

I suppose the smite monk could go smite/curses, but it's all personal preference. About hex removal, i also suppose you could interchange remove hex or smite hex for any of the skills of any of the members in the group, probably smite hex on smiters and remove hex on healers. Thanks for the feedback, any other comments, suggestions, questions?

Don't take mending. Sheild of Judgement isn't as useful in PvP, I think you might be better off taking 2x Signet of Judgement instead.
