Default Savage Shot

If Savage Shot hits, your target's action is interrupted. If that action was a spell, you strike for 13-25 damage.

Unlike Savage Slash, which states

If this attack hits, it interrupts target foe's action. If that action was a spell, you deal 1-32 extra damage.

Playing in comp arena, I hit a monk casting mending with savage shot and struck for 74 damage with 10-11 marksmanship. Shouldn't I only have done 24? It wasn't just a fluke, it's been happening all day.

I think the ranger discription reads you strike +13-25 dmg.

Nope. Copied and pasted, and verified in game.

savage shot will depending on a normal shot prior to you using savage will shot additional arrow, so there will be times were you will see high damage output from a single use of savage!! I always shot a normal shot before i use savage! You get a nice extra Damage from that extrta shot!! Ive seen my savage shot hit for +102 once but it was againist a Flame imp, seriously!!!!

I think it's because the description doesn't state how much your inital shot deals . So that would mean that the actually arrow is normal damage but when it's a spell, it deals the +xx damage which is then added onto your inital shot's damage.

For example, say my normal arrows do around 15 damage. And my Savage shot does around 26 damage. I use Savage shot on a foe that happpens to use Meteor shower. I would do 15 damage, from the fact my normal arrow deals around 15 damage, + 26 damage from Savage shot, for hitting a foe that is casting a spell, which would = to 41 damage total.

The Desp. IS poor if no + is there.

From the way it is written - Savage Shot does 0 dmg, but if they are casting - It does X dmg.

If it meant for you to do normal dmg, with thatwas an extra if they were hit while casting, it should be written +X dmg. The + meaning that it is added onto your normal dmg.

Indeed, I suppose the wording is just off.
