Default question about pve ranger

i need some suggestions as to what my secondary class shoudlb e for my ranger. i use barrage as my elite, and i use kindle arrows with a 5:1 vamp string. main reason i do this is for good pve damage, plus the 5:1vamp + barrage keeps my health up. i have a necro secondary, no idea why since i dont put any points into necro attributes or use necro skills, so what should my secondary class be? i was thinking about doing the boring ol' monk secondary for extra healing just in case, but that gets boring, and then i was thinking about warrior secondary so i can do runs when im bored, but im not sure. whats a good secondary and why?

thanks in advance, krack~

Mistake Numero uno! Barrage cancels out preparations. Therefore kindle arrows, being a preparation and such, would get nulled.
You can use enchantments like conjure flame(elementalist) or Judges Insight (monk) which boost up your damage.

Combine healing with marksmen's wager and you'll have a nice energy supply going in. It'll be cancelled out by barrage though.

All of the professions are nice . But I'd go with elementalist.

Ranger/Elementalist build
This one is called the Fire Slinger. Tons of damage in one hit. Can be used to spike; Although it is still effective by itself.

Dual Shot
Savage Shot
Kindle Arrows
Conjure Flame(Elementalist skill)
Res

The rest of the skills are up to you

Wouldn't using Penetrating Attack instead of Savage Shot be better, if you're going for sustained damage rather than spiking?

Of course, you could use all three, but that will run you out of energy real fast, even at 14 expertise.

Edit:

Could you mention a good attribute allocation for a flame slinger? The only thing I'm really set on is 14 (10+4) expertise, and whatever is needed in marksmanship for my current bow (currently 10).
