Although, it would have been better for you to post in Gladiator's (the tactics section of this forum) rather than a forum for SUBMITTING builds, i guess i kin help yaz. Try, for the three skills in the spike: dual shot, savage shot, and punishing shot or quick shot. Ignite arrows (never kindle) works well if you make sure to have the spirit of favorable winds up all the time.

I have an extremely effective Ranger/Mesmer Spiker Build:
EXTREMELY EFFECTIVE. It hits hard.

Fragility
Incediary Arrows
Tiger's Fury
Hunter's Shot
Pin Down
Distracting Shot
TOOLBOX SKILL
TOOLBOX SKILL

Att:
10 Marksmanship
0 Wilderness Survival
11 Illusion
something like 7 beast mastery
remainder goes to expertise, i think 8

Cast Fragility on your opponent, then use incindiary arrows, then tigers fury. With Fragility:
Arrow Damage(28)+On fire Damage(10)+Fragility Damage from recieving Status(16)+Fragility Damage from reciving Status(16)+Fragility Damage from status ending(16) = Grand Total Per special attack:86

This is supposing you use pin down or hunter's shot. Normal attack would deal just 70 damage. The low Wildy survival makes the fire ware off in about a second making huge damage sources that are very difficult to block against. For instance, reversal of fortune would block maybe 28 damage, but the rest of the damage would cancel it out and deal an additional 14 damage. Its a great build. I use it for PvPing mostly.

uh, trojansheep., that's nice, but unfortunately it would not work with more than 1 person running it.

excite, that's also a 1 person build. Hint for 8 person builds: run favorable winds in stead of having all of you take read the wind.

Um... Sorry to say that you're incorrect.

You could have a team of 8 people running the same build and although the fragility would not be counting the ending damages, the initial damage of contracting flaming multiple times would lay on pretty heavily. Will work, but not as well.

Basic combo for an Order Spike build.

Under RTW. Dual shot, Punishing shot, Savage shot. Timing is the key. You all want to attack the target at roughly the same time to prevent monks from protecting and healing the target.

I like to run a 15 Mark 14 Expertise build.

Dual Shot
Punishing Shot [E]
Savage Shot
Distracting Shot
Read the Wind
Pin Down/Winnowing/FS/EoE (Adjust attributes accordingly)
Whirling Def
Rez Sig

4 R. Spikers.
3 Monks
Bond, Martyr, Healing
1 Order of the Vamp necro. Rigor Mortis would and Rend enchantments would also be helpful.

That's pretty standard. Pin down can be replaced for spirits on the other rangers. Distracting shot is optional as well. Ideally, it's for shooting down rez sigs.
