Quick question about changing Ranger/Necro to R/Mo,R/El?
I have a lvl 20 R/N and plan on using him for pvp. I was thought N as secondary for curses such as Enfeeble (weakness), weaken armor (-20 armor), Shadow fear(slow down enemy and foes), Faitherness(50% slower attack and health Degen), and Mark of pain (34 shadow damage to nearby foes for pve) but wondering about adding damage for PVP.
I've thought about changing to ELEM for Conj. Flame and Mark of Rodgert.
I've thought about going Mo for Res, possible healing, and mostly JUDGES INsight.
I've heard Judges Insight adds about same damage as CONJURE.. is this true? If so this would be better since holy damge harder to resist than elem and healing/res skills.
Skills I'm planning on using so far are:
Elite: Melandrus Arrows or PSN ARROW
Pin Down
Debilitating shot/Distracting shot
Dual shot
a heal spell like Troll
maybe Tigers fury or Whirl Def
And for other 2 or 3 not sure between Pet/Spirits/Trap since i've heard so many diff opinions between these 3 things.
Not sure on other skills I heard Pets Got better so i was thinking either that for meat shield + little extra damage or Barbed/FLame trap or Spirit for extra damage/ target confusion
What should be edited from these skills and any opinions/advice between R/N, R/Mo, and R/El ?

Against soft targets like monks and so forth (around 60AL) they are about the same. However, the holy damage of ji comes into play when against warriors, so in that respect its better than conjure. Its more energy though, so maybe a zealous string or something, i dont know.....
Apparantly m.arrows is good for damage, since so many people use enchantments. Ive never really thought about it though, its quite a standalone skill, but i suppose adding kindle would do some large damage, albeit with lots of preperation time.
Self heals shouldnt really be needed in pvp. Perhaps a dodge to make it easier for the monk, but apart from that leave it to the monk unless its intergral to your build somehow, e.g Grenth Balance Build.
Tigers Fury is amazing, i suggest and recommend it, but over debil/distract im not sure. I suppose its more whether you want interrupt or shutdown, although i have a gut instinct debil comes out on top with high expertise and maybe serpents quickness. Or, you could get both!
duel shot only really results in a 50% increase in attack damage, which makes it a rubbishy power shot.... unless your combining with kindle in which case its quite good.
As for rituals, ive heard good things about fertile season, anti spike, symbiosis, anti spike, edge of extinction, and frozen soil, among a few others.
Pets seem to need a fair bit of dedication, i.e half your skill bar. Never played one since there arent pre made pets . It could work though.

My plan in pvp was providing condition vs enemy such as Bleeding, cripple, and maybe psn. I wanted to mostly be damage w/ some conditions and 1 interupt skill such as debilitating shot/distracting shot. But lately i've been reading about Spirits becoming a pain in the rear and pets getting better which is why i've only recently considered cluttering my skill bar with these skills. I know i want to use Pin down w/psn or bleeding in case warriors charge at me so i can have a chance and i wanted Debil/distr to help vs casters. Just not sure if i should go for more damage or even consider keeping necro for little more flexability.

If you want melandrus, you should be more geared towards taking down targets with enchantments. At least get rend enchmantments in that build.
