This is all with a +12 energy focus and gladiators of course...
Any pros and cons? Should I replace Conjure Phantasm? If so, with what?

Why do you have swordsmanship?
Edit: You could theoretically use some Domination for true caster killing power.

Illusion of Weakness is a bad cover losing about 200 health at 12 illusion.

I personally like Arcane Echo + Illusionary Weaponry. If it gets dispelled then recast, if it still hasn't been dispelled after 25 seconds go ahead and recast anyway. With the state of enchantment removal You will need a couple characters focused on you to keep you free of Illusionary weaponry, and frankly... it is a waste of time for their team. Of course this setup requires a little more energy, so you might want to got mes/war.

The general problem with a Warrior/Mesmer IW,as with any Warrior/Caster combo, is one of energy.
The energy pool and regen of a warrior just seems too small to support such a high energy spell.
Also, since you would be using IW, you would be unable to use ANY adrenline skills effectively, as IW generates NO adreline on hit.
I love playing my IW mesmer, but the simple fact is they are rough running PvE. I continually give my ever vigilant monk guildie ulcers when I take my bad ass off to melee.
Ironically, I find that I get shattered far more often in PvE than Arena combat, and my experiances in HoH have been extremely limited.
Playing in the arena, I find that I win more often than I loose, but if you PUG, it really is total luck on which side wins.
Always back a utility skill that you can use if you are shattered. With upgrades and arcane echo I am very rarely un-IW's up in PvP

I think a Warrior / Mesmer actually has a lot of potential.
The energy problems are more or less a myth . . . with gladiator armor and a 12 energy focus, you have enough to get the job done.
The main problem is that you can't use Runes of Illusion, so you'll have less points in Illusion, and subsequently be doing less damage with IW.
On the flipside, you'll be a hell of a lot harder to kill.

You have a good point.
But warriors are just so damned ugly.
I mean, who could pass up the fashion possiblities of the mesmer!

Your 2 biggest problems with a pve IW are:
1) You get IW very late into the game
2) Especially with the new updates lately, everything has enchantment removal. A cover enchantment won't do you much good if there's 6 enemies casting rend or well of profane or shatter, which happens often. And with only one offensive skill, you become pointless once IW is down.

I just fixed up my build...
Illusionary Weaponry
Illusionary Weakness
COnjure Phanstasm
Spirit of failure
Defensive Stance
Disciplined Stance
Healing Signet
Flurry
Spriti of failure + any stance can solve the energy crisis.
The stances+ conjure= backup solution for warrior if IW is gone
