Yep I get this too. The devs probably put it in to stop farming. It kind of sucks because now you have to go through the game normally to get items while people who already farmed are way ahead of you. I think they were trying to give normal people a chance but by making these areas this much harder, there is no way any normal person or above average person can get to the level that past farmers with 5 bajillion gold are at.

EDIT: By level I mean number of runes unlocked, gold in stash, and items. There is NO HOPE for any of us who came in a bit late to get 15k armor while those other few who have millions of gold can buy many sets of it.

well there are two conditions i think you mean - diseased or poisoned? next time you get it, move your mouse over it to check what it is. if its in a yellow border, its a condition, and you can get rid of it with any of the monk remove condition spells or skills such as antidote signet from rangers. (plague touch from necro is a nice evil way to get rid of it ).

and you can still farm Sigils! (thats how i got the money for my 15k armour )

Wow...Jist wow. way to lie to yourself. Yes, the Devs obviously designed this entirely new condition just to maim farmers. Get a grip.

To comment on the original poster's complaint, both Poison and Disesead have skeleton icons. The Diseased icon is the skeleton with the gaping jaws. But Poison is the one with the much greater health degen, so its probably that.

As far as getting rid of it, Mend Condition/Mend Ailment/Restore Conditions will all get rid of Poison, and are available at your local Monk.

Antidote Signet will also work, if you're a Ranger. Or if you're a Necromancer, you can just transfer the condition back to the enemy.

Was the icon a whole skeleton, or just a skeletal face? Because Mesmers have Conjure Phantasm that has a skeletal type face to it...kinda I guess. I mention this because I'm a Mesmer and have had people ask me what I'm casting that makes the opponent so sick and to degen health so quickly. Just another thought..

Doesn't this forum have a requirement that posters at least attempt to use standard English?

He said "condition", but I'd be surprised if such a doofus knew the difference between hexes and conditions -- so it may well be either Conjure Phantasm or a stack of other degen hexes.

Neither of your classes has a condition-removal skill on its skill list. If your mystery "condition" is really a hex, then the Mesmer skill Hex Breaker will get rid of it.

How could you already be infused and not have encountered poison or disease yet?
