Default Nature Spirits

Are nearby spirits affected by mark of pain if they are in the area of effect? The description says that it affects all nearby enemies....does a nature ritual spirit count as an enemy?

Secondly - are nature rituals affected by spells such as epidemic, which spreads all conditions from target foe to nearby enemies? So if i cast epidemic on someone who was poisoned, would all the rituals round him also become poisoned?

Spirits are "creatures" and should still take damage from mark of pain.

Spirits are probably affected by epidemic, but they have no flesh, therefore they are immune to poison, bleeding, and disease. They may also have special resistance to other effects and hexes, but I've never really experimented with it.

If you want some spirits to play with, step outside Ventari's Refuge. The Maguuma tend to use rituals pretty regularly.
