Default w/mo build for PvP

Hello, I'm a warrior/monk using an axe. So far, my build has been really good for PvE, but lagging behind is the PvP. I have a variety of skills and i was just wondering what the most effective build would be for a w/mo using an axe. I have points in healing, axe, and strength, (and when i farm, smiting and tactics also)

-Thanks in advance

there was a thread exactly like this for axe war/mo's, on page 2 somewhere.. heres the reply I did.

Frenzy - to be used at all times unless taking significant melee dmg.
Dismember - deep wound
Axe rake - cripple chain off DW, can be cured but guaranteed decent amount of no running time.
Cleave {E} - fast damage, spam it
Pen blow / Disrupting Chop - Pen blow recharges just as fast as cleave but you're going to want that disrupting chop to keep monks from healing themselves while you're impaling them. Up to you.
Executioner's Strike - big damage, save it to chain after you do 2/3/4/5(if penblow) first.
Mending - put this on your monk or whoevers takin the heat.
Restore Life - ALL WARS NEED REZ, don't leave the lobby without it.

Try that and I guarantee you'll see an increase in effectiveness. And if you still don't like the w/mo axe I suggest trying w/e air axe build. Sub out mending with conjure lightning, restore life with rez sig, and dis chop with gale (only really effective for long casting time spells like rezing, good for runners as well.) This was the build I played when I did axe and it owned. Although I admit that axe builds are a hit or miss, you either own your target, or cant kill it for the life of you- just depends on what youre hitting.

thanks, but instead of cleave should i take eviscerate? it does even more dmg and inflicts a deep wound

Cleave actually does more damage than Eviscerate does. You've got Dismember for Deep Wounds. Cleave is also much cheaper.

Never, never, never, never take mending. There is no situation on the planet where mending is a good enchantment to have, ever. In fact, don't take any heal spells, and I don't suggest restore life, either. Take res sig. My favorite axe lineup is as follows:

Axe: 12+4

Eviscerate
Disrupting Chop
Penetrating Chop (blow? can't remember the name).
Executioner's Strike
Sprint
Bull's Strike
Res Sig
Frenzy/something from your sub, possibly SoH, but don't make it a heal, please. It's embarassing.

Although that's a solid build and I've never done a w/mo, the most successful axe warrior/mo I've ever met, seen & played with ran something similar to what I listed. The problem with this build you listed is you really aren't doing significant damage with skills.. you're semi relying on your crits and auto attack. Your damage just is revolving around evi-penblow-exestrike combo, and speaking from experience thats not a lot of damage, mainly considering exe strike takes quite a while to charge up compared to pen blow or cleave. If you want to mow a caster down you could use some more dmg.. since you won't be using bulls strike or disrupting with the objective of offensive dmg output. Also if you're taking sprint theres not too much of a reason to be carrying bulls strike- should be either or. And questioning Frenzy's spot is ridiculous since its the core of any axe build. I also agree though that bringing healing skills is just ridiculous, if anything it would be some sort of 1 time spell like mending where you slap it on and forget about it. Imo I think the monk sub on an axe warrior is somewhat out of place although can be good, I prefer ele. The build you listed isn't utilizing the monk sub whatsoever, making it pretty damn pointless, why not just switch to elementalist and swap out bulls strike for conjure? Would make more sense..

I like Tigris's build.

I'd swap out Bull's Strike for Restore Life or what not.

Res sig rox for non monks, I'd prefer a w/mo with a reusable long casting res though since the whole team has to be dead before people look at him, usually...

Hammers don't like you either. Cleave will out-damage eviscerate, but eviscerate conserves 15 strikes of adrenaline by combining executioner's strike with dismember -if you have room for more spammable damage spells, eviscerate works better.
