Final Thrust vs. Galrath Slash
Ever since I can remember, my Warrior's been using final thrust (the sever artery > Gash > Final Thrust combo) But I'm not sure if I wanna switch to Galrath. Here are the differences.
-Galrath takes slightly less adrenaline to use.
-Galrath strikes for exactly the same amount of damage.
-Final Thrust takes slightly more adrenaline to use, and once used, you lose ALL adrenaline you currently have, Galrath does not.
-Final Thrusts damage doubles if the enemy is below 50% health.
I don't really think it would make sense to use both, since the new combo lineup would be (Sever Artery > Gash > Galrath Slash > Final Thrust) By the time you got to Final thrust, your bleeding and deep wound effect have probabaly already faded, so you'd have to go back to sever and gash.
Anyways, I'd like to hear what you have to say, thanks!

Just build up all of your adrenaline, and unleash all four skills at once. The fact that Final Thrust drains adrenaline drains all your adrenaline becomes null and the combo does a lot of damage.

Use Frenzy or another Adrenaline pumper to get the combo off quicker.

Frenzy + Galtrath (until enemy drops below 50%) then Final Thrust.
Frenzy alows faster hits, hence faster adrenaline regeneration.
Sever Artery becomes nearly obsolete later in the PvE game experience. It is useless against the unead as well.
Just my opinion.

And without Sever, Gash loses a lot of its value too. Myself, I run a pure strike-galrath-final thrust combo, and it seems to work just fine. For quicker adrenaline boosting I've got a few possible solutions depending on the situation, but at the moment I'm using "To the Limit!" which can potentially give me 4 more adrenaline, but at least 1 or 2.

Going to have to disagree on the usefulness of sever in PVE. The only place that are filled with loads of undead are the kryta swamps... even in the late game missions there are plenty of things to bleed.
@ Dahl: gash is better used when the enemy's health is low. That way it lowers their health by 20% making them easier to finish off with final blow. So sever -> galrath -> gash -> final blow.
Btw, most Jade bosses and undead bosses can bleed... dunno if they'll fix it in the future, but it's something to make a note of.

Yup I use Sever, Gash, Galrath, AND Final in my skill lineup all the time. Combine that with a 16 inn swordmanship and a barbed hilt and the opponenet bleeds for a long tmie and takes ALOT of damage.

Check out the Paladin PvP premade. It uses Sever, Gash, Galrath, Final. Sever and Gash rarely run out before you can use Final. It's really painful against enemy casters.

He said check it out, thats the skills it uses. I personally don't think that premade is bad for a sword warrior either.

If the deep wound effect and bleeding are wearing off before you get a Final Thurst away, I would think your sword level is much too low. Gash takes 7 strikes to fill, Galrath 8, Final 10. You get about 8 strikes in with a sword in 11 seconds (I can recharge an 11 seconds Bonetti's before it wears off). Considering you need to hit just a few more times for Final to be ready, I doubt deep wound is lasting for just a few seconds.

You should be using both Galrath and then Final Thrust when you spike.

I don't think you get how adrenaline quite works. After using gash, you don't need to wait for another 10 strikes to use final thrust. lets say i gain 8 adrenaline. I can use sever, gash, AND galrath, and 2 more strikes would allow me to use final thrust. You don't just use 1 skill, then it goes back to 0, it just doesn't work that way.
