Default Tigers Fury or Lightning Reflexes

I read alot about how Tigers Fury is in alot of ranger builds but I never see Lightning Reflexes mentioned.. Why is that? Well, I think i just seen the reason. 60 second recharge vs 10 seconds. Ahh heck, why not pack both and just alternate..

- Lightning Reflexes (Expertise)
For 5 seconds, you have a 75% chance to evade melee and arrow attacks, and you attack 33% faster.
Energy:10 Cast Time:0 Recharge:60

- Tiger's Fury (Beast Mastery)
All your non-attack skills are disabled for 5 seconds. For 6 seconds, you attack 33% faster than normal.
Energy:10 Cast Time:0 Recharge:10

Reflexes doesnt last long and its got a long cooldown. Rangers dont get attacked first (except technically in all ranger teams) so the dodge is immaterial. Thus, tigers fury.

Might as well just have Whirling Defense (which you should have in your skill bar) anyway. Tiger's is spammable, which makes good use of a Ranger's energy regen. =]

Unless your running Oath Shot this shouldn't be even be a quesiton. Tiger's Fury is superior. If you are runing Oath Shot with a decent amount in Expertise, Lightning Reflexes can be quite useful. I love it when warriors start chasing my Spirit Spamming/Signet of Weariness ranger. Just pop Lightning Reflexes every 10 seconds and they are rendered useless.

I disagree on the "Rangers don't get attacked first". Not saying they do but there has been pvp matches where they are targeted as quick as casters. Just depends on what the rangers role is. So it's more situational to have lightning reflexes and yes, that is not a good reason to pack it. I totally agree on Tigers Fury being more versitile and usefull.

Like all things, it was a generalisation.
If theres a monk
and a ranger
..........
whos going to get attacked first?

Thats one hot ranger and one poor monk if its that way round.

Tiger's Fury.

Lightning Reflexes takes 60 seconds to recharge.
Tiger's Fury takes 10 seconds.

Take your pick.
