??? R/w ??? R/e ??? R/mo ???
I was wondering about a R/W. but for the warrior just use the shouts and what not that add armor or protect you from certain things. Would this be good.
Or R/E with earth magic as my ele. With armor of earth adding mucho armor i wouldnt take any damage.
Finaly i started on thinking i would be a R/Mo but I dont know if i would use healing on monk cuz of the rangers Troll Ugnet(sp) thing. Mite use protection for the monk. so again i dont take dmg. or not enough dmg. Would ageis and sumthing like dryders defense stack. that would be 75% + 50% of dodgeing attacks.
Any opinions/suggestions would be highly appreciated

Is this for pve or pvp? R/W is nice for using apply psn to melee attacks and for some of the shouts. R/E is nice for Conjure element and same elem bow string, although armor of earth sounds decent too with earth element. R/Mo can do nice damage using Barrage and Judges Insight and if you are going pve there are some nice enchantments that stack to help you leech a lot of life back up to like 21 or so per arrow... even if you go all ranger, monk 2nd class is nice for the res/rebirth skills instead of using res signet.

I would use something like Apply psn/hunters shot for psn and bleeding while foes approach you, then once closer use apply psn/cyclone axe for starters. I'd bring a pet for low lvls. Ignite arrows is a nice ranger prep for mobs but the apply psn will apply psn to your wpn attacks too so you could get bleeding or deep wounds and psn. Not sure on what other skills, but use troll urgent over warriors healing signet.

Before you got R/W, make sure there is something would really help you in a Warrior's Tactics or No Attribute skills. Remember that you can either use a bow or an axe/sword/hammer, not both. When you pick a R/W, you are basically excluding 3 of your skill trees (since you can only use one weapon at a time, it's a waste to take more than one weapon tree).
Personally, I'd go R/E or R/Mo. They both add good damage, especially R/E. They both have good utility spells. R/N and R/Me are also good choices, since you can basically shut anything down with them. However, you never really need to do much shutting down in PvE. Rangers have enough shutdown spells to cover the occasions when you need them. So, I wouldn't go with those two choices unless you're playing in PvP.

Here is a thought, R/N. You can leech, hex ppl, create loads of minions, or throw grenades (putrid explosion), and many other things you can do.
I also seriously thought about R/Me b4 make my R/N. R/Me is the best caster killer combo and can be really useful in PvP.

R/N is an excellent choice.... if you don't mind not being the one killing everything. R/N is pretty much pure support. Well of Blood to support warriors and take a slight load off monks, poison and life drain for DoT and keeping monks busy mending conditions, and not to mention the awesome abilities to interrupt casters (CASTERS HATE CONCUSSION SHOT). But don't be thinking you'll be taking out any tanks any time soon.

I beg to differ from suzembachi. If you focused in on Wilderness Survival, Curses, and Marksmanship if you want (You could always use a Nec weapon) you could be a great poisoner. Easily able to take out tanks with different skills like Price of Failure, Enfeeble, and Insidious Parasite. They will attack, have a 25% chance to miss (And then take damage when they miss), or if they don't miss they hit you weaker than normal, and if they hit you can take up to 20 health from them. It's a build I used to use, and I could own in the Competition Arenas. If you incorporate some Poison or Traps, or some good Nature Rituals, you would be set.

If you blind the tank and then cast Price of Failure, will he take damage for every miss? If so, hmm...

I built a R/W for one warrior skill - Frenzy.
That skill is available very early (pre-searing, I think) and only left the bar once - while beating the mirror.
Now that I've unlocked Tiger's Fury and other higher R skills, I may change the R/W to a R/Mo or R/N.
