W/Me of Energy Digestion...
whoa... from the Transcending Warrior Limits thread, I've been inspired [heh, go fig] to try out this twist on a W/Me...
A Hammering Psycho-eater...
hammer: 10+2
strength: 9+1
Inspiration: 10
Domination: 7
Counter Blow
Crushing Blow
Hammer Bash
Irresistable Blow
Ether Feast
Energy Drain {E}
Energy Tap
Hex Breaker
As you can see, only one of the skills drain all your adrenaline at once and it's quite energy dependent. So we steal our enemy's energy. It's also an anti-hex build as you can see from the very long lasting Hex Breaker.
Without fast casting, you are easily interrupted due to slow cast times of the energy draining skills but if what is said is true, nobody will expect you to do anything worthwhile. Till you drain ~30 energy from someone in one shot...
There are no other stances in here so Hex Breaker can stay on you indefinitely. If the enemy runs. No problem, just DRAIN all their energy from a distance and just find another target. No enemy that's running will have any use or benefit from losing all their energy.
Ether Feast, now that I look at it, truely is one of the BEST self heal any warrior would want that's non elite. @ 5 energy, you can heal yourself for 100hp upwards and steal 5 of an enemy's energy. Every 8s. You won't need to spam it but it serves this build's purpose.
Conditions obviously will be this build's downfall but they're easier to remove and if someone is VERY intent on hexing you, you can drain energy while mashing Hex Breaker to punish the foe hexing you quite well.
If enemy starts blocking, knock him/her on their ass with Irresistable Blow and have their chest cavity cave inward with a Crushing Blow. Even with no block, it hits for +24. Ouchie.
Distance without Sprint again, isn't a problem. Can't hurt anyone when all your energy is gone unless you interrupt all 3 of his energy eaters.
Outside of conditions, this build should pretty much be able to utterly dominate his target by shutting out their energy, healing HIGH with it if needed, and then finishing off with Crushing Blow + repeated battery of hits.
Any ideas? ^_^

This looks like a pretty good build, but I don't konw if it would be much use against other Warriors (then again, it's not really designed for that). Another weakness would probably be elementalists, as they have a huge energy pool.
Insp is at 10:
Energy Tap takes off 11 energy
Energy Drain takes off 16 energy
Ether Feast takes off 5 energy
Total lost: 32 energy
My friend's elementalist still has about 20-ish energy left after this. However, it would completely drain my Ranger dry, and would leave my Necro struggling to cast anything.
I'd say it's a pretty good build, though, because once they're stuck with little or no energy, you're pounding the crap out of them with your hammer. Ether Lord might be a fun spell, here. Then again, this build is very energy dependant, and losing all your energy isn't going to help. Depends, I suppose.

Yep, it looks solid. I disagree on ether lord for this build, I think it would be very potent at shutting down opponent's energy recharge. Who cares when you lose all your energy as a warrior when you will be stealing it back with tap/drain anyway? Plus while you're regaining that initial energy loss from ether lord you can still whack away with your hammer and rely on adrenal skills to do damage.
If you've never been hit with ether lord as a spellcaster, you haven't felt a real pain in the a**. Unlike all other energy degens, it doesn't end when your energy reaches zero. You can be stuck near zero energy for the entire duration of ether lord. Only hex removal will stop it once its put on you...

Sure it's not MASSIVE energy loss...
Hey, you can replace Ether Feast for Arcane Echo...
[then x2 Energy Drain]
I chose Ether Feast though cause it still steals a little [heck, steal the energy from enemy wars/rangers].
5e to one person is TONS to another person.
If we REALLY wanted to see energy bars begging for mercy...
10+2 hammer
10+1 strength
11 Inspiration
counter blow
crushing blow
hammer bash
Irresistable Blow
Arcane Echo
Energy Drain {E}
Energy Tap
Hex Breaker...
Lower damage Hex Breaker but that energy drain is MASSIVE at 11 inspiration.

Seems decent for arena but overall it should be left at that as you can't keep up with r/me single target energy denial at all and the kds won't add enough to make it useful. In arena you can shut down that one monk with easy generally though.
If you are looking for an efficient energy denial setup with warrior, go w/me and use an echoed fear me spam with frenzy/flurry on constantly. 6~ negative energy pips in a large area is something to be alarmed about.

That sounds kinda cookie cutter... ah but it is!
actually, running two of such warriors is probably the funniest thing to do... ^_^
Add in For Great Justice! if you can cast the energy for it and you're yellnig Fear Me every second.

Cookie cutter eh? I've never seen anyone in tombs with this setup besides someone from my own group and I'm positive it's never been used against me.
Yeah for great justice fits in there nicely, as with to the limit also.
2 wars with this will kill any chance the team has of keeping their energy up unless they are ward/enchant stacking. I'd personally prefer 1 fear me user and 1 echo debil user instead of two of the same so you can't get shutdown as easily. But yeah, very effective at energy denial it is.
