Aegis only works for attacks, not for total damage. It's useless against Mesmers, Elementalists, Smiting Monks, Necromancers, or DoTs. Plus, you'll run out of mana long before you get to your third Aegis. Healing Breeze, Orison of Heailng, and Shielding Hands would be much more effective if you had higher Divine Favor. Reversal of Fortune is far better than Shielding Hands, since it works well against spells. Shielding Hands works best against attacks, which you have well covered by Aegis. Illusion of Weakness is completely unecessary. Monks have a dozen spells that will save your life as well as Illusion of Weakness, in addition to being far more versatile. Frankly, I think that an Aegis build would be far more effective like this:
Mo/E
Divine Favor 10+1
Protection Prayers 11+1+1
Earth Magic 10
1. Aegis
2. Ward Against Melee
3. Reversal of Fortune
4/5/6/7. Mend Ailment/Mend Condition/Remove Hex/Shielding Hands/Ward Against Elements/Shield of Regeneration/Protective Spirit/Signet of Devotion/Guardian
8. Rebirth (PvE)/Res Signet (PvP)
Ward Against Melee acts similarily to Aegis and it lasts longer for less mana. You should be able to keep one of them up 90% of the time. High Divine Favor, along with some cheap Protection Prayers Spammables will give you decent healing and damage reduction.
I get the impression that you haven't played very many Protection Monks, have you?

If you really want to make a Mr. Resistant, there's only one way to do it (PvE only, since tanks are pointless in PvP). A Monk with 17 Point into Protection Prayers, Protective Bond, 4 Superior Runes, No Vigor Rune, Balthazar's Spirit, and Spell Breaker, with 2 backup Monks with Healing Seed, Spellbreaker, and Mend Condition. There is only one skill in the game that can get around this, Nature's Renewal. Literally nothing else will work. Since few mobs pack that skill, all you have to do is have that Monk run out in front, with his buddy Monks staying safely outside the aggro bubble.

Actually chillblains spam (most notable the scarabs) and well of the profane could stop this build (I've never seen well of the profane in PvE, does anyone use it? I assume somewhere...). But, yes, that's the closest to invincibility you can really get.
