The core of this build is to provide maximum health degen while preventing as much damage as possible from making it through to you. Start off by laying down Traps as needed. Any that cause Blindness are the preferred choice. Following that, apply poison and use dual shot on the target of your choice. Since Apply Poison works according to each hit you make, and dual shot uses two arrows, you're starting off with a double health degen. They'll be aggroed, and go charging merrily through the dust trap. Now they are blinded, poisoned, and all set to be crippled with Pinning Shot. Harass them with a few more arrows until pinning shot wears off. As they charge toward you again, apply poison once more, activate whirling defense, and make sever artery your first attack. Again, double health degen, and not soon after that, death. Use Hundred Blades with Apply Poison as needed for crowd control. Swap out Dual Shot with The Elite Barrage Skill for Rangers for a fun crowd-control build.

This is designed for PVE. Any feedback would be nice. provided it's not "UR BUILD IS TEH SUX0R0Z!"

Meaning that each arrow is an attack, so dual shot=two arrows=two attacks=double dose of poison

AFAIK Poison does not stack, even if it is from 2 different sources (2 rangers both with poisoned arrows).

Ditch the Dual Shot and take Penetrating Attack, Distracting Shot, or Choking Gas.

First off, hundred blades is elite, so you can't use that and barrage. Second, how are you planning on distributing attribute points? For the build to be effective, you'd need high scores in wilderness survival, expertise, marksmanship, and swordsmanship. As previous posters have mentioned, poison doesn't stack because it applies a condition, and you can't have the same condition more than once.

I'd re-evaluate what you're trying to do with this build. It's interesting flavour-wise, but you try to do so many things that you won't be particularly effective in any specific role, which isn't a good thing in team-oriented stuff.

It doesn't stack. If you get Barrage and Poison...now that's a combo!

Yeah that doesn't work either.

Edited: I'm dumb, I got barrage and immediately thought I could stack without actually paying attention and only using it for the next 10 minutes before logging off.

Doh...Maybe I should practice a bit more. I got Barrage last night but only used it a few times before logging off. I thought for sure you could stack but you're right, my bad.

You can use apply poison and hundred blades though, as for dual shot/pin down and what not, how are you planning to use a bow AND a sword (hundred blades)... your idea seems good to start, but the way its built is a little skeptical, try reworking a definite plan
You could remove dual and pin and replace with a better skill and hamstring as hamstring cripples longer from what i recall
you have the right idea in condition/degeneration infliction, but the skill you use to do that is wrong

I was wondering How Barrage would enter act with A Vampiric or Zaelot bow? Well the steal life apply for all of them, if so I will have to rethink the value of vampiric bow strings.

I believe it works for all of them, yes. That's what I've been told by someone that uses the combo with a zealous bow string.

I am pretty sure it would, as it DOES work with Dual Shot... I know from experience. With this baby, I can get health back right quick:
