I've played a W/E and I must say, given the warrior Energy pool, you are really quite delimited as to what you can cast. You can't drop great nukes/aoes much b/c you don't have the Energy; the only point I can see in subbing E w/ a warrior is for Earth magic and going as a defensive tank. The beauty of the build is that you get around your small Energy pool by only having to periodically cast b/c you're only casting buffs and buffs last a while.

ME- im thinking to phant/empathy
E- fire storm? flare?
can anyone tell me a good w/me or w/e build? atm i have full gladiator/ 1k sword 15-22 w/ fiery hilt and a +8 energy off hand

Right now I'm playing a 15 W/E
I have loaded
Sevre Artery
Gash
Conjure Flame
Inferno
Phoenix
Flurry Stance
Endure Pain/Healing Signet
{open spot usually seeking blade or Res Signet}
Weapon 15-22 firey, with 15% damage in a stance (flurry) and 10 damage while enchated(conjure)
+8 energy offhand, and Gladiators suit.
Here is the Deal:
In PvE you run in and pop both your Phoenix and Infernos in the largest possible group, that will blow about 25-30 of your 35ish energy, giving you just enough for Conjure Flame, then when you get 5 more, flurry stance...
if done right, (and its not hard) that large group of monsters, just felt the pain... alot. Since Phoenix and Inferno have long reload times for their power, but niether causes exhastion, you've severely damaged the group for very low mana.
Now in PvP the optimal (in my oppion) skillsets
Conjure Flame
Hamstring
Sever Artery
Gash
Final Thrust
-- Brain fart, the 10 energy spell that damages and sets them on fire --
Victory is mine {E}
Flurry
The key here is ViM, per status condition on your target, you gain 5 energy and about 10 life...
Hamstring, Sever, Gash, Set them on fire, ViM = 15net energy 40 life (with tactics 0)
W/E's aren't that bad... they're pretty good, they're just a balancing act.
