Any alternatives to an elementalists flare? (E/Me 20)
Ive maxed out my fire magic and energy storage so far.
Basically since I have made my character, I have always used flare as a quick spell that does satisfying damage with ultimately no recharge time. Are there any alternative skills that I may have missed, that do great fire damage with little recharge time? My skill list 1. Flare 2. Aura of Restoration 3. Firestorm 4. Meteor Shower 5. Pheonix 6. Inferno 7. Fire Attunement 8. Fireball |

I'm an E/Me15, and i've heard (not tried) that Conjure Flame on a good Fire Wand or Staff does more than Flare. Coincidentally, I just respecced into Air, so I'll try this after I get more refunds.

Like the others listed, Conjure + Wand is good, and Immolate works well.
Personally I think the spammable attacks, Ice Spear/Stone Daggers/Flare work wonders with Ether Renewal. The skill was ridiculously powerful well before they added the healing component in. Now it's just...well sick. |
