Ok I know it is from raptor something in snake dance however I have been out there and cleared the area (except past the most northern collector since all maps i found never indicated its that far) I have yet to see the boss all the griffons have it and it is frustrating to not find the boss.

Any one know of some trick to get him to appear?

I am monk/ranger but whenever i go out all I seem to find for bosses is warrior and mes ones,

rarely a ranger one but I want spell breaker so badly.

If anyone has some tips or tricks that would be greatly appreciated.

sometimes he doesnt spawn try again hes their.

I got this the other day. A useful trick for it is that there's a griffon boss spawn point that's practically right next to the exit from Camp Rankor. Just exit Rankor and go west a bit, weaving around the hills and stuff, and there should be a griffon boss somewhere over there. Just look for Raptorhawk; if it's not him, go back to Rankor and re-load Snake Dance until he shows up.

ahh thx I will keep trying, and I didnt know he spawned so close so maybe I will catch him soon

I quite often see the elementalist boss spawn here more than any other. Whats his name old redclaw or something ... anyways i believe your looking for raptorhawk. I have seen him spawn ... all the time he spawns ... just go north and stay on the right side. If you have gone all the way up the hill and down the other side where there are like 20 -30 or so trolls ... you have gone too far.

But bosses of the given class do spawn randm so *my way* is very long. The crowd of griffons directly west is probably the faster way to farm this elite. Keep at it I am sure he will appear.
