Default Flurry> How much Damage Reduction is there?

*For 5 seconds, your attack rate is increased, but you deal less damage*

Anyone know how much less "less damage" is?

It seems benefitial to increase your attack rate (more critical hits, more base weapon damage, more bonuses), but not if its taking a big chunk off the total damage.

Thanks...

Be nice to know the attack speed and damage increase. My guess would be they're equal. Like 25% lower damage, and 25% quicker.

My experience is that you deal a lot less damage. I remember at one point I was causing 15-20 damage regularly and 3-5 with flurry, but I never did a real study of it. I found the best use for it is to ramp up Adrenaline quickly.

As far as I can Calculate 20% Less - If you have a Weapon that gives you +bonus damage in a stance , you can tell since flurry is a stance

mine is +15% and for using flurry my normal attack damage goes down about ~5%

now if I use frenzy (also a stance) I get a 15% bonus to damage, and attack faster, now talk about a damage increase =P

My war damage went about 12 - 15 avg to about 9 - 13ish. I'd say around the 20% margin is around right. It's still better than frenzy though (Take double damage?!) so it works out.

the real use of flurry is together with othel spells, hexes, eg. necromancers barbs and mark of pain.
also if you use conjure smth*, and you are wielding smth*, then the damage from conjure will not be reducted. (u have to use physical dmg for necro curses to work though)

Or for another combo, Flurry+ IW.
