after 3+ years of gw, isn't it normal to see more and more people with fow armor ?

btw, the richest players in gw are not sf farmers, they are power traders

I really don't think SF should be nerfed, i mean all these people have all the money theyve made from it and it wont be taken from them (and why should it) so sure it might make it so they can't make more money than you but it wouldn't 'balance' the economy or anything

I agree that Shadow Form should be nerfed, as it seems to be too easy to be an invincible runner for that skill... I also think that they should make Paragons actually better...

Things that need to be nerfed heavily: SY! and SF.
CoP needs a minor nerf.
These are the 3 most problematic skills in pve at the moment.

) the other day and now I am happily abusing SY!

So what? Since when was that kind of balancing important for pve?

What's more problematic is when efforts become focused on pve balancing instead of pvp balancing.

SF isnt really a problem - ppl state all these perma sins are about and yet i see in Umbral Grotto ppl asking for perma sins ... how can there be a demand for something thats meant to be plenty of ?????

I perma sin and had my sin before the buff/nerf/buff and when it was put to normal i must have been one of the few permas who didnt go into uw - i stayed out of uw and decided to go on a global travel and see what and where i could farm.I didnt go mass farming in 1 place but did a few runs then go somewhere else.
Uw is slow for solo permasin ( anyone will tell you that ) so at the end your spending a lot more time ecto chasing than others - if you get any at all.
Yes a lot of new players will jump on the permasin wagon as they think its a get rich quick build - wish it was.
Get rid of shadowform and what will happen ?
All of the teams that farm uw/slavers etc will be crying as it may kill the team setup fully and for some sin players it will mean that profession will be useless and discarded as they wont get in a team.
I do recall times where sins wasnt welcome in a team and they had a hard time getting in - wouldnt believe it now.

Power traders are the big money ppl and im damn sure a lot of us simple farmers are but a grain of sand - take us a lot of uw/fow to farm enough ectos and shards for armor or a while to raise the cash to buy off players but mr powertrader can spend loose change and get his.He can spend hours trading 1 high end item for profit - time to him isnt an issue but farmers want a steady income and time is an issue when spent in outpost trying to sell 1 thing you luckily had drop.

I also use my permasin to help guildies and often other players with quests i kno i can help on and even many times ran ppl to toa and la for free ( yes free ) so that wasnt anything to gain from but being a nice helpfull player - bet they didnt complain about shadowform after.

I cba to complain about one professions skills - why shud i when i have the choice not use that profession or skill/build.
Heck ive had my ass kicked by all professions at some stage by numerous skills so id b spending years moaning lol

So because not many people play it you generalise on the subject? Give me a break. It's still invulnerability to next to anything. It's also PvE, which gives it that much power. It's also got the ability to stay alive 100% of the time in at least 90% of PvE, and that's without help.

What is it doing that other running builds can't? The only difference is the amount of areas it can run, and with certain adjustments it's possible on all professions. The only difference is that SF is near invulnerability whereas the others still have flaws.

It may not seem like that to you, but if there was a skill that dealt 1000,000 damage would you still not be bothered? Ignoring something doesn't mean it's inexistant.

I just read this and i agree to most of the people in this thread. But i thought...
When you start GW and don't have money to buy nice armor, what'd YOU do in that case then? When all the SF and stuff get nerfed. Actually, Those people who run SF ARE the noobs, because they can't win with just bala. They have to run gimmick builds. And sometimes they have totally right, if you want a underworld speedrun 20 mins. You're not going to use a monk etc because it's never going to work, the key to the fast times is to be able to split, and that's impossible with a balanced team.

So, i'm not sure yet...
