FoW guide
I was trying to look for, and didn't find a FoW guide.
not a SC FoW guide, just a FoW guide. one that tells you where to go first and which quests to take or not to take.
I've never done a full run and plan to do so now with 7 heros.
any suggestions ?
Thanx !

Try it.
FoW is relatively simple and easy when compared to the other end-game areas, and a general rule of thumb is that if you are to a spot where you can take a quest, you're fine taking it.
The only things that will cause instant fail are letting the Eternal Forge master die (shadow beasts will eventually patrol up to him), letting Rastigan die (once you take his quest he will start walking up, so it's best to clear everything up to the first tower), and letting the griffons die (Once you take the quest A Gift of Griffons, they will follow whoever is pinging targets. It helps to have one person stay behind and hold them while the rest of the team clears the way back to the Tower of Courage (first tower).
But generally, the wiki page has enough quest information to keep you safe and successful on your first run.

I did some SC before and tried it last night for the first time with 7h build.
It was easy enough (even without SY! or BuH) but it took me ages.
A guide of what order the quests should be taken in might not be a bad idea.
So as a start (it's just an idea after one solo run):
First go to 'Tower of Courage' with Rastigan and make sure he's safe inside.
Second go to Nimros and take 'The Hunt'.
While you're there go on to 'Slaves of Menzies'.
Then u can take 'The Eternal Forgemaster' and 'Army of Darkness'.
Follow the chain of 'The Eternal Forgemaster'.
Finish with 'The Wailing Lord' and 'A Gift of Griffons' after you've cleared the forest.
Would that be the fastest way to go (when doing it with 7h)?

An easy order with minimal backtracking:
tower of courage
battlefield camp + army of darkness
clear forge + defend forge
hunt
tower of strength
backtrack to cave and do restore temple + beach wolf
get mage from forge then do khobay
finish tower of strength
slaves of menzies
battlefield wolf
lighting forest
griffons
tower of courage wolf
VERY crude map, but may help. Path goes green to red to blue. Lines with intersecting white lines are where you backtrack.
If you're new though, do lightning forest/griffon quest and burning forest (slaves of menzies quest) first, as those are the hardest parts. For griffons, as long as you don't approach their spawn point (far left of the wailing lord before the bridge) you can clear the way before you lead them to tower of courage.

ADD me in game: Drizzt Dourden Tp
I live in gmt +1 zone, and today from approx 17 pm to like 3 am ..I'll be online Will do FOW NM with you. I do it every few days when I'm running guildies to get statue, so will explain you everything from a first view.
Btw, Mig Coconut, I got a question
You reccomends after clearing forge tower and defending it, taking all quests...then what, rush to other tower, or clear part where is Nimros, take quest, go to tower and clear path there, then backtrack back and do cave + beach wolf?
might do that, i can actually see several minutes of time getting better. btw, when you backtrack, temple mage don't run to you (or you need to be near forge tower for him to actually come out and go to another tower)?

After forge clear, get hunt quest, go to tower of strength and clear everything there (need to activate mage at this point). Go back to forge, do cave and beach wolf. Go back to forge, activate mage. All you need to do is get near the entrance to forge; when he's moving he's activated, and he'll go straight to tower of strength. Go do khobay while he runs to tower of strength, then finish tower of strength.
I mean, there's a lot of leeway in the order, especially if you're just doing it casually. You could get hunt, do cave, khobay, clear tos, then run back and get mage and just follow him all the way back to tos (you can bring make haste/fallback to speed him up).
Now that I think about it, it may be possible to activate mage by flagging a hero at forge. Then you could get hunt, do cave, clear tos (when almost done flag a hero at forge entrance), then go do khobay while you wait for the mage to come. That may be worth a try.
