Erys Vasburg never cries. He Power Spikes your soul with his superior interruption abilities. Speak not ill of Erys Vasburg, or we shall hunt you down and Power Drain your face.

To deal with the problem of running out of energy, I have either zhed or sousuke running pure dom interrupts without an elite but using ether prodigy. He runs e-prodigy like a pro, and with tahlkora and dunkoro to heal the post-battle damage, its not even an issue. Kickass AI.

Why the Minor Attunements? Ive been away a while, but I just tested them and they dont provide any special benefit to the random non ele spell I tested them on (smite hex).

heh.
For added fun add frustration and watch him him spike the crap out of his enemies.
I've also given power drain to both my boon prots because the hero AI is so fast they seem to switch targets, interrupt and return to healing in under a second...
Mesmer Hero Build:
Frustration
P. Distraction
Power Drain
Everything else optional....

Leech Signet
Power Drain
Psychic Distraction <E>
Cry of Frustration
Ward Against Melee
Drain Enchant
Ether Feast
Rez
9 Domination
15 Energy Storage
9 Earth
9 Inspiration
+3 attunement runes, +1 superior rune of Estorage
-1 +15 E weapon and +12 offhand.
Sousuke infinitely interrupts everything and uses leech and Pdrain in order to maintain his E. I mean no 2 second spell will ever be cast, its downright insane. When underfire he throw up the ward to protect the healers and himself. Seriously, he makes Erys Vasburg cry with this setup.
How can you not love nightfall?

I find that he rarely uses Psychic Distraction.

I did that for my Norgu. Problem is he never used Power Spike at all, even with enough energy and I didn't understand it.

Good tips.
On the general theme of 'things heroes do well', I noticed my Ranger heroes doing a pretty nice job with Healing Spring. Pretty useful in places where there's lots of AOE degen type stuff.

I was very loud voice in complaining about the 'farming' nerf. After playing Nightfall and using the heroes I completely withdraw all complaints I made. Its obvious that the changes to the AI was in preperation of the hero system, and not a nerf of farming.
For quests I do not use a single hench. Heroes > PUG + Hench

2 Humans + 6 Heroes = Win
Bring 2 Interrupters and 2 Monks, then throw in 2 Warriors with Charge. You will speed through whatever like crazy.

I have found that heroes make very good use of br (blood ritual).
If i use 2 monk heroes i make them both mo/n and put 2-3 points in blood, they will keep each others energy at 7 pips pretty much constantly.
being an ele i noticed that they ignore me and other non-monks in the team and only br each other as well.

I agree with the br thing when i give it to a hero they almost alwasy keep it on the monk and will ocadionaly top up an ele when hes low. Instead of the stupid henchice who would run up and br a warrior mid fight. also when I tell him to use it he makes good choices on who to use it on meaning if i see the ele getting low(not low enough for him to use br on his own) usaly he will target the ele with it when i tell him to simply use it.

Talkhora knows how to Boon Prot and Remove Condition like a freaking pro. Shes maintains Divine Boon and always has Mantra of Recall on and when theres healing to be needed she spams RoF or contemplation of purity when there are hexs and such. She does better than some HA people ive played with. These Heros are awsome..

Pick Up Group. Basically a group formed with random people in the district, as opposed to a Guild team/team with friends etc.

PUG is Pick Up Group, a random party made for a mission or a quest in a town.
I love heroes anyway, but I don't think they will completely cancel PUGs from GW, they are the way to add people to friend's list... ^_^

Keep Jin - skill her up as a touch ranger - she tears up mobs. I was running her vs level 21-24 mobs when she was level 11.
