I was wondering if there was a way to get the heroes that you didn't chose as rewards? Like Acolyte Jin. I chose here but I am starting to regret it. Will I ever be able to get the other guy?

After you beat NF, you can get the quest to get all the other heroes you missed by talking to them along the right path. This will be in the area right after you defeat the final boss. Just look for them and they should have the ! above their head.

You may be better off with Jin, she is a good hero, and lots of people that have him seem to lament about Souske not being that cool. Worst part of the whole deal IMO is Nightfall makes you pick or choose between 2 heroes three times in the story- sure you get em after you beat the game but it blows to have to pick or choose.

The decision between Margrid the Sly and the Master of Whispers ended up being one I really regretted because without Margrid there are whole areas you cant go into, or have to wait til later to get into. Another one I hated is if you aren't careful the game pulls a bit of a bait and switch on the quest to get Goren or Norgu..... I wasn't paying enough attention and found out the hard way that whichever one of the two you suggest as a bodyguard for the NPC guy, is the one you wont be able to get until the end of the game.

I think a lot of people probably complained about the way they did the either/or hero quests in Nightfall, fortunately in EOTN getting all the Heroes the first time through is pretty straightforward.

Sousuke is definitely the best ele imo, he's nowhere near as suicidal as vekk and zhed. Also an additional necro has way more impact than another ranger...guess you just like your rangers pygar.

I feel the OPs pain for sure, I felt I got jipped almost every time I had to choose between 2 heroes...and if I would have picked Souske in the first split, I would have chosen Margrid second, which not having her was the one that really burned me as the game wore on. (Can't do a couple missions and areas without her, can't do cartographer without her)

I still have no experience with Souske myself even though I did get him after beating abbadon- have heard others complain, but hey some people struggle with all their heroes.

Your second or later time through NF, it's not as bad; you get Zhed later on, so you can skip Sousuke. You get the choice of Master of Whispers or Margrid, so if you got Jin instead of Sousuke, you have a ranger hero and can take Master of Whispers. Furthermore, if you also have prophecies, you can get Olias, and so if you just want 1 necro hero, you have even more flexibility.

I usually prefer an elementalist over a ranger, early on, and so go Sousuke, then Master of Whispers.
