Godmode for Warrior Hero
I am currently a Ranger working on building Jora as my main dps hero. I have read the very informative sticky on warrior builds. I was wondering how viable would the God mode build be with Jora? Can the AI handle the skill set? If not, what is a good standard dps build for a hero warrior using a sword (by standard I mean clearing out explorable areas/dungoens not fighting end-game bosses). Thks.

Heroes cannot use PvE skills; ergo, they cannot run the "God mode" build to begin with, nevermind the AI.

Not sure what game your referring to but my PvE heroes can run with PvE skills. I'm looking for a solid dps build for my PvE warrior hero in PvE.

Ok so we have our wires crossed. Let me try again.
So aside from specific PvE skills that heroes can not run, what is a good general dps build that I can use for my warrior hero?
Talk about drawing blood from a stone

The "Godmode" warrior build has Save Yourselves! on it, which is why he mentioned you can't run it on a hero. It was a valid comment in an attempt to help you.
Beyond that, I've heard they don't use Dragonslash particularly well, though if that's due to a skill bar being too big, perhaps locking most other skills may fix it.
Beyond that, if it's a fairly good Player warrior build, it should work fairly well for a hero Paragon. They won't use the skills as effective as a player, but they are good with them.
Warrior Heroes used to be good about keeping Watch Yourself up. They still are, but it's a less than useful skill now.
Still, my experience is that the Hero Henchmen work well enough when I need a warrior usually, and I can get more use out of other heroes.

I don't see why you'd run a Warrior Hero over a Paragon Hero...

There isn't really any reason to run a War hero instead of a Para hero, tbh now that I think about it there isn't really any situation where I would want a War hero.
War heroes aren't dramatically different in what they do compared to their henchmen counterparts (dealing damage), and you can't give them anything fancy because the AI will screw it up. Para heroes aren't melee so they don't have the annoying pathing issues, and have nice support as well as damage. Without SY (and WY is crap now), Paras >>> Wars in defence (well, it was always that way, but meh).
If you MUST run Jora (afaik theres no quests/missions that require her), then go for a 'random buttonmasher build' (as I like to call them). Nothing that requires thinking, skill chaining of any kind, just something where they can use any skill when they want to. A DSlash build would be ok, but people say they don't spam it on every attack even if they can (theres a build in the sticky).

An axe build works best for a hero warrior. For an elite, they can use Cleave much better than Eviscerate. Thing is, half the time they will be spamming something like Lion's Comfort/Healing Signet(o.O).
That being said, as others said, Warrior heroes are a waste of a slot, unless you are running an Orders Necro or something that gets health/energy from melee. A henchie will do the job as well(even with their Leeroy tendencies), and you should use that hero slot for a better profession.

I watched Koss for about 5 mins with a D-Slash build. He managed to use it 5 times in a row when he was under "FGJ!", but on two occaisions, it sat there, fully charged and unused until "FGJ!" ran out, then he decided to use it. Perhaps just a change to the AI to say "When this skill is charged, use it" would make hero d-slash builds considerably better.

If the hero AI system is as good in GW2 as in FF12, I'd be really happy. The thought of being able to issue priorities and commands and such to them makes me smile

SY is a PvE skill so no.
I haven't been used warriors with D-slash as a hero, so I can't be sure, but I doubt heroes are good with the skill. Limited AI says no the D-slash usage.

Warrior heroes are bad anyway. They scatter into other mobs and overaggro the shit outa everything.
Paragon heroes are much, much better.
But no, heroes can't run PvE skills.

Heros work best with simple builds, get to complex and they fail badly.
Give a hero Sever Artery and Gash and you might get lucky and he uses them in the right order, but chances are he'll use gash first 50% of the time.
If I run a Hero warrior I find an Axe build with Dismember/Disruption Chop/Tripple Chop is the best bet for them, any more offensive skills and they ignore something on the bar. Add a res and self heal to that, + IAS, and you can toss on two skills from the secondary, TURNED OFF, that you can force on them as you feel needed(Conjures/BiP your self/ect...)

Jora
W/Mo Swordsmanship 12+1+1 Strength 12+1 Healing Prayers 3
[skill]Enraging Charge[/skill][skill]"For Great Justice!"[/skill][skill]Flail[/skill][skill]Sever Artery[/skill][skill]Gash[/skill][skill]Sun and Moon Slash[/skill][skill]Dragon Slash[/skill][skill]Resurrection Chant[/skill]
Haven't taken this build of Jora into HM yet but as for PvE NM I had no probs with her.She used all skills and was effective.I set her shield as +30hp and 20% less blind. Gave her armor a rune against blind and agaisnt poison.A damage reduction rune(sup warrior 3).Used one Knights insignia and the rest survivors. She was pretty damned effective for me.
