Hello, Im having trouble find some ranger hero builds for HM use. Ive seen that people use barrage or broadhead, but not really sure what other skills to use with it.

I hope that skill thing works, but yea, it helps against those strong monk bosses and other things.

Poison Tip Signet/Burning Arrow/Screaming Shot/Distracting Shot/Whirling Defense/Troll Ugent/Antidote Signet/Ressurect or Rebirth.

im 1 mission away from legendary Guardina and Have Legendary Vanquisher, and did it all heroe and henchie using nearly ever proffession

Hero Rangers are also handy for taking spirits on an expedition but disable them and click when you need them - otherwise the AI trys to call the spirit every time you stand still!

Having a Res on them helps too - but again disable it and click when needed. Consider getting a pet for your Ranger too - another body to fight a mob always helps!

I must say: forget Barrage.

The only reason to bring a ranger hero is Broad Head Arrow and other interrupts, which you strongly need if you don't have a human ranger in your party.

The real problem for a hero ranger is energy, they tend to use all their attacks as soon as they recharge, and reach 0 energy in the most important moment.
The other problem is that they shoot BHA also on non-caster foes

So for a hero ranger (not for a human) I can suggest the following skills:

Expert Focus
BHA
Distracting Shot
Savage Shot
Sloth Hunter Shot
Rez

If you want more energy management, Body Shot (necro must have Weaken Armor).
If you're still unsatisfied with energy, remove Sloth Hunter, put Poison Tip and -maybe- Epidemic.
Better 6-7 good skills than 8 unusable skills.

The common PvE ranger bow is the Recurve. For mods I'd say slap a 15^50 and a +30 on it.

Bowstring would depend on what build you're using.
