Question heroes for a monk player?

I did some searching and a previous thread partially addressed this, but I was wondering if you could help me out.

I usually run some variation of a standard WoH hybrid monk, usually with Aegis, ProtSpirit, SoA/Guardian, GoLE, PatSpirit, Dismiss Condition, and Cure Hex.

I've been running Sab's SS necro and MM, but I don't know if the N/Rt healer is necessary. If not, what should I put in its place? I do normal mode a lot, but I will be starting to do some Hard Mode stuff, and I don't know how I should structure my hero choices differently. I've heard good things about using a BHA ranger, some sort of paragon, an ele (don't know which build, though), and others. What are your thoughts?

I use a modified sabway.

I put Protective was Kaolai at 9/10 spec for some passive healing on the MM and the SS.

I give the MM Putrid Bile for added AoE damage, the SS stays the same.
For the 3rd, it varies, but it's really between a Dual Attunement nuker and a BHA ranger.

The BHA ranger comes in handy vs. HM monks; their energy reserves are so high you really can't do that much to try and burn them out.

Lately I've been using the dual attune; I think I have Fireball, Liquid Flame, Rodgort's Invocation, Attune, Attune, Death Pact Signet, Meteor Shower, Deep Freeze.

What normally happens is that the minions wall up and force enemies to ball; the ele surprisingly uses Deep Freeze well here, then will normally follow up with Meteor Shower. After that, he'll spam Liquid, Rodgort's, and Fireball as they recharge, which with 8/10/7 recharges isn't that bad.

the necro healer isnt 'needed' for sabway, but due to the whole, free energy thing it can be preffered.

I would suggest Sab's or Discord way.

The rit healer for Sab's isn't really needed

but if you are a monk

Your best option would be to go prot.

Make you you have Prot spirit and Hex removal that will help.

also another thing i like to use on sab's is 'Pure was yu ling' (Spelling)

Removes 3 condits when droped

that really helps in heavy condit areas

But I prefere Discord way to Sabs I just think the damage is etter and the defense seems to be about the same
