I play a BHA ranger and need some help with CoF HM. I gave it a try with sabway, and warrior, fire ele, earth ele, and monk henchies. Didn't work out too well, mm seemed pretty useless in the harder areas.

The majority of the enemies there will take double damage from holy damage. Abuse that and run 3 smite monks.

A few heros running something like that imo.

Or even dervishes with [avatar of balthazar] though it's pretty baed, but it works against undead and this is Pve after all.

Smiting + Holy Dmg Dervish skills are definately worth a look. As are [[Ward Against Elements] and [[Ward Of Stability].

Not that I would do it, but I see lots of rangers using scythes. So yes, you are missing something.

/agree. you make your money back anyway, but maybe he wants to do something for himself, more satisfaction or something I dunno

I'm sorry if this is a stupid question... But why bother? You can get run through for 2k, 1.5k of which you get back for completing the dungeon. If its just for the sake of doing so and you have nothing else to do, then by all means proceed, otherwise spend the 2k and move on to the next task.

Thanks for all the quick replies and great info. The smite build posted for my heros plus adding the derv skill to my bar worked great.

To the people that said just pay someone to run you. What's the point of playing a game if you're just going to pay people to do things for you. I wouldn't be playing if I wasn't having fun.

and yeah I agree that doing stuff yourself is more fun, but alot of people in guild wars (Including myself sometimes) are very lazy :P
