Review my hero monk build please
[Word of [email protected]][Dwayna's [email protected]][Protective [email protected]][[email protected]][Hex Eater [email protected]][Power [email protected]][Leech [email protected]][[email protected]]
Should I replace [[email protected]] for [Cure [email protected]]?
Healing Prayers - 12+1+1
Protective Prayers - 8+1
Divine Favor - 7+1
Inspiration Magic - 8
~~Remaining Attribute Point: 1
Idea:
[Word of [email protected]] - Primary Heal
[Dwayna's [email protected]] - Secondary Heal
[Protective [email protected]] and [[email protected]] - Nice protection spells to prevent my team from exploding, I am happy that I got Protective Prayers to level 9 because Aegis is now 9 seconds.
[Hex Eater [email protected]] - Hex removal. Pro: No energy cost and can remove up to 4 hexes and gain up to 12 energy. Biggest flaw about this skill is its insanely long recharge. When only concerning hex removal though, it is not much different from Cure Hex, which would only remove 2 hexes by the time Hex Eater Signet can remove a minimal of 1 hex and a maximum of 4 hexes.
---> I am also happy that I got Inspiration Magic to level 8 because Hex Eater Signet is the same at level 8 as it is at level 12.
[Power [email protected]] and [Leech [email protected]] - Nice energy management and interrupts.
[[email protected]] - Hard Rez (disabled).
~~Biggest concern: How heroes use Hex Eater Signet, I am hoping that they use it with removing at least 2 hexes. If they mindlessly use it to only remove 1 hex then that might be a problem. If it comes down to that though, I can always just disable Hex Eater Signet and use it manually.
I am debating whether to use Cure Hex or Hex Eater Signet, the fact that I have my Healing Prayers at 14 points kind of makes me feel guilty not using Cure Hex.
I guess I could always take out Rebirth and put in Cure Hex as well. Then I would just use my N/Rt and Paragon heroes to do the hard rezzing.
Side Note: I dont have a condition remover, but that's my N/Rt 's job, she has a lot of condition removal. Anyways, I wouldn't want my monk hero spamming Mend Condition when he could be using Word of Healing instead.
Thoughts?

I say remove [Dwayna's Kiss] add [Patient Spirit] in its spot. Depending on how hard mission/other is and how good your team is, keep [Rebirth] if hard and add [remove hex] other than [cure hex]. I know you get the heal with cure but the 4 second faster reload is more effective. (My opinion)

Drop the rez, having one more skill slot to keep the party alive is much better, and hero Monks are usually the last to leave a party wipe scenario alive.
Hex Eater Signet is touch range, and therefore hero Monks will run up to frontline Warriors to use it. Bad. Take [Cure Hex]
Drop the Inspiration interrupts for [Glyph of Lesser Energy]. This will save you a lot of attribute Points (8 is waaay too much) and also cause the monk Hero to perform better (see the thread about monk hero interrupting).
I would personally put [Shield of Absorption] in there because it's an awesome skill. Also [Guardian] is good.
Protective Spirit... I personally find this skill better off on the LoD Monk rather than the WoH Monk, because the WoH Monk usually burns off more energy healing the party than the LoD does. But definitely disable it, bind it to a hotkey, and micro it either way.
To the above, Patient Spirit is bad on heroes because #1: they can't weapon swap to cast it on a non-enchanting set, and #2: they don't know to not use it on a target who needs health immediately

don't use rez on monk, especially rebirth, even though it is disabled. if someone dies, the monk hero has zero energy for healing. don't spec into inspiration for monk. use [[gole] for E management. don't use touch skills on hero monks, as they will run to the frontline to use it on a warrior and forget to run back.
[[reversal of fortune] and/or [[soa] need to be in there. meh, [[guardian] is good but notsomuch on a hero especially when they use [[aegis] pretty well. learn to chain it, which heroes also do fairly well. aegis and guardian is overkill.

Tested Hero build with the same concept as yours with the suggestions of others its amazing.
[Word of Healing][Dwayna's Kiss][Dismiss Condition][Glyph of Lesser Energy][Shield of Absorption][Protective Spirit][Cure Hex][Rebirth]
Rebirth on a hero is fine just disable it and use flags, this can keep you from having to run a mile if the res shrine is way back there in some zones.

No point in rez on Monks at all, because it's a useless slot until the party wipes, in which case you'd be saving time by simply wiping and that extra skill slot could have saved your party. Examples are things like Aegis.
Apart from that, I wholeheartedly agree with Maverick.

Thanks for the comment guys.
Ok, this is now my new monk build using suggestions from this thread as well as other threads.
[Word of Healing][Dwayna's Kiss][Shield of Absorption][Cure Hex][Remove Hex][Protective Spirit][Aegis][Glyph of Lesser Energy]
From what I've gathered... Monks will spam condition removals when enemies apply conditions, so when I would rather have them using WoH, they'll be too busy spamming Dismiss Condition or Mend Condition, so I took out condition removal for my monk. Instead I have a N/Rt that'll remove conditions.
Is this fine? Or I dont need 2 hex removers and should just put in a condition remover, a hard rez, or a something else?

You don't need two hex removals. I assume you're using Foul Feast on your N/Rt, if not, I highly recommend it. *Thinks of a possible suggestion*
Signet of Rejuvenation, if you're in a hex heavy area, consider Spotless Mind for Cure Hex, maybe Heaven's Delight or it's counterpart for some cheap and slightly effective party healing.

Even worse; the hero doesn't get the principe of patient spirit. I've always seen him casting patient spirit, and then another heal on the same target until his hp is acceptable even though patient spirit still has to heal. So they cast two heal spells resulting in 2x5 energy and patient spirit never is fully used.
