You're better off running that on a Nec - all those interrupts work well at 0 spec. With SR, you won't need any e-management so you can drop Power Drain/Leech Sig for faster-recharging interrupts like Power Return.

The main reason why I'd do this though isn't the fact that the mesmer doesn't bring anything special (I am currently also using Genny as my Discord gal and there is not much wrong with her) - but the fact that I really dislike running minions, BotM and DN on the same character. Unless you disable DN - the necros spam it and instead of pressing BotM when the minions are losing HP they use DN instead.
By exchanging Gwen for a Oli - you get 14 in Death - and then you can exchange DN with Rend (although I run multiple Rips as I don't bother running SolS these days) on these two guys. So when the non-MM spams DN, the MM uses BotM.

The biggest shame with the skill interrupts though is the fact that the heroes seem to use them for spells only ...

But still nice to have them and micro-manage their use sometimes (I HATE those Giant Stomps

).

Yeah it’s crazy… I actually had dunk tiring it out this weekend and he seems to use the skill ok. They don’t seem to overuse it. And it gives 17 energy a jump. Granted I had the balance of my heros running necro/rit and minion master / rit. They probably kept his arse alive. But it lets other characters flow better energy as long as the kill count is high

There really is no reason to put BotM on the Discord MM's bar because you mobs drop pretty quick so enough there is aways a fresh supply of corpses for more. Plus you can always take healer henches and they will heal the Minions in between fights.

The guy I was replying to has it.
I also bring it - then again - I also bring Fiends (on top of Minions).
So IF one does bring it (depending on one's team build of course) - I would advise against putting it on the same skillbar that also has DN.

Probably not a good idea to place consume corpse or necrotic traversal in with the discord setup. It would cut down on the necs' minion wall and send Dunkoro (in your case) into the fray.
