2 accts, 6 heroes Q
So i recently tried using 2 accounts and 6 heroes by logging off 1 account to let the heroes all follow one player.
now here's my question. is it possible, through a combination of shadow stepping skills, deaths or what not to have all the heroes follow one player character without logging off the other account? In this way, I could get double the reward when vanquishing.

yes, very easy as long as you have multiple computers..
what i do is set one of my laptops on the floor next to one of my computers then log in with both accounts. On account A i run around and kill stuff, while on account B i hit the space bar with my foot to Follow player A. It is real easy I vanquished all of the jade sea in a few hours.
Player A = AP Caller Ele
Player B = warr (just because since he doesnt use skills 80 armor helps him absorb more damage) "I am Following Player A"

with some sort of auto-clicker (which would be against the eula, so this is not a "suggestion") you could have the second account continually use shadow steps on the first account.

Its super easy, i even plug a keyboard into my laptop so the space bar is easier to hit with my foot. And every time i make Player A move, i just tap my foot for Player B to follow.
You could even make player B a paragon then bind your skills 1-8 to the keys around the space bar and just put random beneficial shouts or refrains (make sure they dont run off of adrenaline).
but then you can kind of smash at your keyboard around the space bar with your foot to have Player B cast random shouts and stuff. (just a thought)
If i were going to to that though, id probably just put the keyboard on the desk and move my hand over to hit the space bar and the shouts.

lol daze ur funny. i especially like the part about the random paragon buffs. i'd like to see a picture of you playing like that. i'm sure it would win an award somewhere.
as it stands though, i don't have a snazzy laptop that can run gw.
i was able to VQ with 1 PC and 3 Heroes 3 Hench and just leave my 2nd acct sitting at the doorway. it wasn't as good as 6 heroes, but it still does the job.

ya, well unless you can somehow move two computers next to each other. the only way to really use the 6 heroes is to just map out with Player B. Which is very effective as well.
I assume you are using [discord] on those heroes.
whether you decide to keep Player B on the map or not if you have 6 heroes following you with these builds, there is almost no way you can fail. Unless you sabotage yourself by overaggro.
[build=Curser with shambling;OAhkUsG6hGGUMTVlColA70uzRVyF]
[build=Hex remove heal;OANDUrptSxMVVKgGNTftERgyEA]as an alternative if you are expecting lots of nasty hexes *ahem* FoW *ahem*[divert [email protected]][signet of lost [email protected]][signet of [email protected]][signet of [email protected]][dwaynas [email protected]][cure [email protected]][dismiss condition][restore [email protected]]
[build=Minion master;OABDQatmSxMVVVBoBLCKVJgdCA]
[build=Prot with shambling;OANDUrpvSxMVVKgHVBE1D3VyEA]
[build=Restore life;OAhjUoGYIPxsqaGbcKNHmTuLGA]
[build=Restore recovery;OAhjUoGYIPxsqKxjaLNHmTuLGA]
the only tweaking you may need to do to the builds is add conditions if you cant apply them yourself. [[enfeebling blood] would be a great choice. But if your main build can spam hex/conditions, then you are all set.

the 2 keyboard idea is pretty interesting and will work if you have 2 laptops, also 6/5 discords is awesome.

this is how i got leg guardian and leg vanquisher. it was easier for me actually since i only had 1 pc. i logged on two accts on the same computer (program called gwloader.exe if you didnt know of this already)
the 2cd acct is running my mouse record program from my logitech mouse (which isnt against eula, since a mouse recorder isnt a bot) and it just runs through the program over and over of clicking on player 1 names, double click, click through skills 1-8, double click on player 1 again.
this way it allows the build ot even help, yea it runs into energy problems sometimes, but its better then afking the char or going 7/8
and i run a diff bar then all discords, but i do run 6 necros for vanquish. 2 are discord, 1 jagged, 1 xuanlies weapon, 1 woh, 1 ss, 1 sv.

Similar to what I did. My second computer is my notebook which is facing 90 degrees to the left of my main PC screen on my L-shaped computer table.
Stick in a wireless USB on my notebook and I have the notebook wireless keyboard which I place on my lap. With one keyboard on top of another, it is easier to control both characters.
On the passive character, bring skills that do not need you to select a target but offers protection to the team, like wards (Ebon Vanguard wards are also nice), wells, pet, etc so I can just press 1, 2, 3....on the keyboard on my lap.
Space to follow the main character. I earn double the Balthazar Factions (12k per day) this way using just 2 additional heroes through Zaishen Elite. You dont need to select targets to lay traps. Needs abit of practice to get the timing right though, but it is easy when you are used to it.

Could use the keyclone program to use up to 4 trappers in zaishen (if you had that many accounts).
All you would have to do is back into a corner first so they all are right on top of each other, then get the spot and trap.

Isn't such a program against the EULA?
I use modified versions of pvxwiki builds. A Mo/R, 2 SF E/Me heroes, and a trapper. Monk bonds all of them, and casts EoE and FS while at the same time press 1,2,3.. on your trapper's keyboard to cast traps near the door and station your heroes near the other side of the door. Trapper keeps casting traps, and monks do the occassional heals so that you have 15 flawless victories.
The worst group against a trapper is the Elementalist group. But the elementalist would try to kill the spirits no matter what, so you can exploit their AI if your spirits are closer to the enemies and trap around your spirits or at the door. I postion my trapper way back when I notice an ele group.

On the topic of getting the second account to follow you, all I do is put a weight on my extra computer's spacebar while it has my primary account selected. It keeps running to my main character and dragging its heroes around, too. However, I've been told by others that the weight on the spacebar thing doesn't work for them.
As for what builds I do, I actually run Sabway plus two Necro/Monks and Gwen for shutting down those pesky Monk bosses (durned buggers live forever without Gwen around). I keep the class on the second account as a sub-Ranger with a pet and 12 in Beast Mastery. Makes for nice a companion (or portable corpse depending on how you look at it) without having to micromanage.

Keyclone just allows you to do something on multiple accounts. The guy who first introduced the idea was a guy who wanted to do mad king thorn emotes on multiple accounts at once. They said it was fine because all he was doing was doing the same thing on each account, it isn't a bot. It just would make it so you hit trap 1 it hits skill 1 for all your other accounts and so forth.

that option maybe, but don't look at me when it does not work, and do let me know if it does work. lol I don't know how to run 2 instance of guild wars atm.
please see pictures
basically assign a key for follow, select a target for your character to follow, mainly your main account's character. leave your leeching account on, play with your main account, see if it follows you around. I use the follow option once which is me following another players and not another account following me, basically works but sometime you will get stuck at corners. then problem remains, it will follow you very closely. might get i the way of fighting and all that nonsense probably not a good idea if your main is a front liner.
might be able to make it follow the healing/back line heros. not sure, you have to test it, lol i am not doing it.

It essentially performs the same thing as pressing space bar on a selected ally. It stops following once it reaches its target. You'd have to keep pressing it to make it follow. This is mostly why I put the weight on my spacebar to get a "permanent" following effect.
