I'm liking physical-heavy teams more and more. Usually, I use warrior heroes....sometimes dervs....but never assassins. Anton is pretty cool to look at, but every build I set him up with he somehow screws up. So...does anyone in the community actually USE their assassin heroes? If so, would you mind posting the build you use? ...Anybody?

Outside HB, no.

You can try [corrupt enchantment][deadly paradox][dancing daggers][entangling asp][signet of toxic shock][augury of death][crippling dagger][resurrection signet] if you want.

If I will ever use an Assassin hero I'd be running Critbarrage.

They see extremely limited use.

I use Anton quite a bit, especially if I want heavy interrupts. Similar to the Crit-Barrager, I tend to set him as an A/R with IA and Disrupting Accuracy. The rest of the bar fills out like a Crit-Barrager.

I would love to use anton if the fixed the melee AI. the way it is now the only decont way to use melee professions is to give them gimmick midline builds.

apparently you dont care about your heroes being terrible though (you are using warriors and dervs) so go ahead and the anton, he will never pick a target and kill it, but he won't be any worse than koss of melloni.

the AI for assassins are just terreble... they dont get the chain system of lead, offhand, dual...

They do but melee AI is bad in general, so on a hero that has light armor it becomes a pain, at least wars have armor and dervs have health.

Ebon Vanguard assassin hero...cool as crap, but pretty much useless *sigh*

In response to some of the posts, I've tried him as a crit barrager and interrupter and he works okay.

Eh, melee heroes are bad...put i'm playing Imbagon about 90 percent of the time so they're not AS bad as they'd normally be.

I've even tried setting him up with one or two caster (deadly arts) builds that he also sucked at, and he's getting no help from the orders derv.

How well would Anton work if he was given the skill set of the Ebon Vanguard Assasin Support? That little magical dude seems to work well enough.

oh woo another Assassin hero. I happened to make the mistake of actually unlocking zenmai which had the unfortunate disadvantage of making my more useful heroes harder to find. Thanks for warning me in advance to stay well away from this guy.

Normal Mode, tested on Lian
Hard Mode, tested on other Jade Brotherhood, okay, but not Lian so not recommended for HM

I've had some fun with this build (with me bringing Great Dwarf Weapon and Livia bringing Mark of Pain and Barbs).
Not all that powerful TBH, but a lot of fun.
