Heroes with AP
I've often heard that Rits in PvE function better with Assassin's Promise then with Offering of Spirit. Is the same true for Heroes, do they use AP for its effect rather then as an actual degen hex or something stupid like that?

In my experience... they don't use it.
Keep in mind the Hex itself has no function, so yeah.

Ah yes you're right, I was thinking of the Necro version, Reaper's Mark or whatever it is.
Are you sure they don't use it at all? Even when they are set to guard mode?
They hardly use OoS, so not much change there then...

Razah looks 100 times cooler then the Necros, and looking good is what wins PvE.
Plus Xandra has bigger boobs than Livia. You know it to be true.

From my experiences, hero ritualists are good with the following elites: [[Wielder's Zeal], [[Weapon of Quickening], [[Offering of Spirit], [[Animate Flesh Golem], and [[Weapon of Fury]. Many people say they don't use Offering of Spirit until very low energy. I seem to have the exact opposite. Mine spams it on recharge if any spirits are within earshot.

And in 90% of the times - it's coming from me.
The biggest issue, in my experience and what I heard from other people, is that heroes do not understand what the skill does. And as such they won't throw it on a foe that is already hexed with of a copy from a different party member. Meaning if you are going to run more then one AP - you are bound to run in some inefficient use.
Still, for a rit hero - AP might be a bit tricky. The reason being that you kinda want them to be a resto/channeling hybrid (since they do not have PvE skills) and that means you're going to be left up with 3 attribute levels worth of points. So I'd more likely just stick in something like [Soothing Memories], [essence strike] or [power drain] if you have that free slot.

Yes upier, that is true.
OK, so, generally they suck at using it (I'm too lazy to micro btw) and the Deadly Arts spec isn't easy/worth it considering what else would be sacrificed.
Right now Razah uses OoS and GoLE, which is fine, just wondering if AP was more efficient for them.

I like AP on heroes, problem is that sometimes you would kill shit faster than they can cast AP on that when that thing is at 10% of hp.
