You are much better off using your heros for damage than trying to get them to heal you. The NPC's (Menlo and such) do a fine job of that. If you insist on having a monk hero I use this when I don't have to use discord necros.

It's basically RoJ + smiter's boon. Three of those blows things up almost as fast as discords ;p
(Sorry I don't know how to do the fancy coded templates.)

Hey thanks guys I suppose because I have been playing from the start I never really though of using heros like you suggest, and always make teams with 2 monks 2-3 tank types and 3-4 casters.
So I have 3 monks on the char I want to play with at the moment, (one is level 15 though :P) I have 1 necro(livia) didnt bother to play nightfall with this char.
what build do you think is best? try to get the necros and do the discordway build (obtain discord elite) or do the roj (obtain it) build and level up my monk.
I play with a friend quite a bit especially when pveing what is the easiest team to make?
also considering I probably wont have all the skills armour weapons which is easiest to setup? do they require any hard to get weps etc?
thanks so much for you help I think the current way of playing i really dont stand much of a chance lol.

Add to the MM 2 hybrid healers, best would be henchmen though, as like mentioned before, you might wanne use your heroes for builds that no henchman are running like SS or what so ever.
If you still want to run 2 healing monks I'd suggest;
http://pvx.wikia.com/wiki/Build:Mo/any_WoH_Hybrid and
http://pvx.wikia.com/wiki/Build:N/Rt...t_Souls_Healer with Xinrae's Weapon in my opinion.
Still adding dmg is oftenly more usefull then adding heals. The faster you kill enemies the less time they got to deal dmg A team with 2 healers and 6 spikers wins of a team of 8 healers

Ok so I think the best option is for me to run with 3 ROJ heros I suppose you are all refering to this build?
http://pvx.wikia.com/wiki/Build:Team_-_RoJway
If i am a warrior and my friend is something like dervish which of these builds should we make? also is there a standers 3 hero roj build that i could apply to any char?
thanks again

Sorry for the double post, why does this build have points in inspiration magic but no skills that use it? is there supposed to be a different skill in or is that just a mistake?

Oops. Just a mistake. It was an old template I copied over. I had Power Drain on their bars until I realized that smiter's boon wasn't smiter's booned in PvE.

ok cool, So I used you build with a friend we have 6 monks between us using your build and it works really well so thanks a lot. should we change any skills on any of the monks or just keep them as they are? also is it worth swapping out one of the monks for something else like a mm?

If you want healers, go with N/Mo's. I would not go with N/Rt's, especially after the recent nerf to [[Protective Was Kaolai].
http://pvx.wikia.com/wiki/Build:N/Mo...uls_WoH_Hybrid
Template Code: OANTYwG/0pqqRCIfk6xdd6LTA
That is the build I would go with. It by far is the best healer/prot hybrid build in the game, with spammable prots due to high energy gain from soul reaping.

Exactly this. You shouldn't worry about having heroes as backline unless it is you and someone else running 6 heroes together.
NPC backlines are limited by their AI not by the skills on their bar. The only time heroes are going to do noticeably better on backline are in some of the factions zones. Those zones however, are completable on NM using only henchmen.

No no no!! Not that one! More like this.
What I use:
Ray of Judgement
Reversal of Damage
Smite condition
Smite hex
Castigation Signet
Divine Healing
Heavens Delight
<res>
Depending on what else I got in my party I take out some healing and throw in some splinter weapon/ancestors rage/ fall back for vanquishes or throw in some extra healing with Smiters Boon.
