This raises an interesting question. What variation do you use if one player is running a Discord team and the other is running Sabway? I've been running Igor's discord setup lately for H&H play, but yesterday I partnered with someone running Sabway for a couple of vanquishes. We did okay, but I suspect it could have been better. Way too many necros trying to raise minions, for one thing. (Thank goodness I thought to tell her to take BotM off her MM before we went out!)

Jagged bones is also completely interchangeable with discord with no need for rune-changing. The only thing that doesn't really synergize is the SS. For dungeon running, replace it with tease hero or BHA/epidemic. I'm sure it would not hurt during VQ either, especially against multiple healers.

Why has that discordway setup got somebody with Toxic Chill? That's pathetic next to Discord. Get rid of Deathly Swarm too. Cold damage is crap, especially in HM.

You could replace the SS with anything and not suffer much, but SS is as good as choice as any for a Curses elite. You definitly want stuff like Mark of Pain and Barbs flying around though.

True and not true. Heroes are very single minded and if you give them a 2s recharge highly spamable elite that’s what they will do exclusively in combat. This is why if you are not careful in 4 man areas your 3x discord setup will let you die

. even if you have heal on 2 of them they are far to busy spaming the crap out of discord to heal me or themselves. I actually watched myself almost die over a 5 seconds period without a single defensive spell from any of them, I had to shift click their discord off real fast just to get a heal at like 30 hps left.

Basically all I am saying is if you give a full MM ( not the cut down discord one ) an Elite like Discord he wont spend any time summoning minions, casting nova, casting Bile or anything else during combat other than Discord. If you care at all about that.

Actually Brakner i experience quite the opposite. I find myself having to click discord for my heros maually in order for them to spike down a target. I also never experience instances where they wont heal me because they are too busy using discord.

For the previous poster who didn’t like [jagged bones] try [Aura of the Lich] It is seriously fun! In a huge fight that isn’t going well you can go from 1 minion to 10 in an instant, it has turned the tides for me in some really bad fights.. My MM runs around with..

[Aura of the Lich] is toggled off and manually clicked halfway through the fight to get back to 10 Horrors if needed. I went [Animate Bone Horror] because they are faster and cheaper than Shamblings or Fiends and sturdier than Minions in HM. It also leaves my MM with more energy to bomb or to spam Prot secondaries.

I have done most HM EoTN dungeons with this guy and it works very well.

Your problem is, you're taking discord heroes to VQ charr. If you are stubborn and seriously want to do it H/H, here are some hints:

SS, technobabble, tease hero, AoE.

I use a modified Sabway for Charr, the MM above plus standard healer N/RT and Curse N for my ranger. If I play my Curse Nec I replace hero Curse N with Com/Ldr P/W

Char are easy for melee if you are decent at using walls to body block and making yourself hold agro. I have done 2/3 of the char areas so far with the N/RT healer from sab, an MM and an RoJ monk which helps heal.
